Love this eyeliner however I had to return it because I could not get the color I wanted and found out that Walmart is discontinuing this particular line of Alamay.  I loved the gel and how smooth it goes on and stays on so well. I used the charcoal carbon color which had a little sparkle in it which I also really liked. I bought the black because I could not find the charcoal and was hoping if I waited long enough it would come back in and I could exchange it but it did not. That's when I found out they were no longer going to carry it. Very disappointed and I'm hoping I can find it in another store somewhere.

Almayeyeliner

I bought Almay eyeliner pencil because I heard it was the best for sensitive eyes. The pigment is not very good it takes a lot for it to stay on the bottom lash line %26 it doesn't stay very well. Trying to put it on upper lid lash line is no better. I wouldn't buy this eyeliner again also the eyeliner lead falls out of the pencil 😣

Not the best

This eyeliner is amazing.  It stays on, stays put, and glides on like butter.  It's less than half the price of a high end liner that I used to buy.  So much better for my eyes.  I have no idea why there are such bad reviews.  I've sharpened this pencil with a regular
eye pencil sharpener and it works perfectly.  Give it a go, ladies.  Pay no attention to these bad reviews.  It's a keeper!!!!

Best Eyeliner Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd give it a 5 because it's a really nice eyeliner, easy to apply and the color is just right for my eyes. But unless I haven't yet figured things out, once the crayon that's showing runs out, there's no way to get more of the crayon. Will keep checking to see if there's something I'm missing.

Great Application - Not much crayon

I am a first time user for this gel eyeliner. It is smooth and stays for long hours. But sharpening is terrible. I had been using automation eyeliners that dont need a sharpener. But this liner doesnt have a sharpener, so I was confused on how to sharpen. The pencil body part, not gel, is very strong like plastic, so i couldnt use a razor blade to sharpen. Once I sharpened it with a sharpener that I got from other eyeliners, gel broke so easily, so I had to sharpen again. I will never buy again. I am going back to Revlon Colorstay automation liner.

Hard to use

This item is unusable. I cannot get the product time to come above the container and therefore, cannot use it. Very disappointed.

NOT HAPPY.

Horrible in so many ways!! As a loyal Almay customer for years, (sensitive eyes) this eyeliner made my sensitive eyes water. The old one did not.  I was trying to figure out why I was spinning the bottom and nothing was coming out...it needs a sharpener! Goes on too thick also and doesn't last!! 
Please Almay, quite changing! Stick with what you had. It was the best! Going to find a new brand for sure now!

I have been buying Almay eyeliner for several years. They have changed the product and the method of delivery for application of this product has gotten worse with every "improvement". The first product I used was the one that went with certain eye colors. That was great till the liner product itself got changed to something too soft, which broker when applying. The next 'improvement" was not any better. So I tried the newest one, for which there are no indications that you need a separate sharpener to sharpen the pencil, not advance it with a turn of the base. Well, this is a disaster. First, when sharpening, you lose a lot of product. Second, when you sharpen, if you go too sharp, it breaks when applying. If you don't go so sharp, it's a thick line of liner. Just a disaster and I'm done with this.
