This is a very nice powder; it's very lightweight and gives a natural finish and keeps the shine away.  I just wish there was a translucent version because I love to use a translucent powder to set my foundation and not add any additional color, and it is so difficult to find a powder that matches your foundation, so a translucent powder would be perfect!

One of my favorite Almay products is Almay Pressed Powder. I'm blonde haired, blued eyed with fair skin, so Light 100 is the perfect shade for my skin. The finely milled powder comes in a compsct eleith a powder puff. I have dry, sensitive skin, so often face powder will give my face a chalky appearance. However, with Almay Pressed Powder this is not the case. All you see is a seamless finish which gives the appearance of a healthy glow.The shade remains the same color all day long, without streaking, smearing or fading. The powder is dermatologist tested, fragrance free, hypoallergenic, clean, and cruelty free.

Best Pressed Powder for Sensitive Skin

I have been using the Almay Smart Shade pressed powder for yearts. It doesn't look like powder on you face. I love it and am having trouble finding it in stores. What's happening with it? I hate the other brands.

I am an African American, 46 year old woman with caramel colored skin and Deep Like Me is a perfect match for my skin!  I've replaced my more expensive Stila brand of pressed powder with this and haven't looked back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almay Pressed Powder states All Set. No Shine. I love that it is hypoallergenic and Dermatologist tested because I have sensitive skin. The directions on the package say to swirl the brush into the powder, tap off the excess and blend into the skin. I think they improved on this because there is no brush, only a soft sponge applicator. It goes on beautifully with the applicator, evenly and matte. It stayed on perfectly throughout the day and it evened out my skin tone. It states on the box that it minimizes the appearance of flaws and imperfections and I guess that doesn't include wrinkles because they were there as always. The compact has a bottom compartment that has a mirror and the sponge applicator and this is very handy for quick check-ups. I trust Almay's products because they never irritate my skin and I am very pleased with this pressed powder that applies almost like makeup and lasts as long as it does.

Stays On

you need to make a darker shade  I always bought TLC medium and this is way lighter   Makes my face look ghostly   I love almay but why are you not making the products I always bought?  Its frustrating

Need darker shade pressed powder

I like the powder, especially because it's hypoallergenic. But this compact design is for the birds! Powder in the usual "compact" spot but applicator/puff underneath in another compartment with mirror upside down and underneath. So inconvenient and difficult to use on the go. I got so frustrated that I threw it out! Impossible to use easily.

Why the Contorted Compact Design?

I only used this product as my lifesaver sometimes. In case I have any accident on my makeup or when I don't have my foundation with me. It is worth it. I also carrying in my purse all the time. It doesn't stay on my face all day but it is something I used in case something suddenly happen. I don't recomend you use this product in your daily makeup routine. Because this product needs to be improved.
