We have a very tall bar and it was very hard to find any stools at this height.  They are comfortable if sitting at the bar, but if you turn and face the TV or somewhere you cannot rest your arms on, then you start to slide off.  I don't know if this is because they are new or what but I read other reviews saying similar.  It is a hike to get into them if you are short.  We love the look of them and they appear to be well made. Easy to assemble.

This 34" barstool is a perfect fit for our high counter top. It was easy to put together with common hand tools. Just make sure the seat is centered before securing it, because there are no pilot holes to guide you. It is very stable while seated.

Great barstool

I ordered these on line and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them.  They arrived sooner than expected and my husband had them put together easily and quickly.  They are very solid and beautiful.  I love the swivel and the seats are very comfortable.

I bought 2 of the backless chairs for my kitchen and we liked them so much that we just purchased 2 of these Bar Height chairs for my Bar in my finished basement.  The Merlot color is rich and looks great with my Bar.  Chairs swivel nicely.

Classy Chair

I searched FOREVER for affordable, extra tall barstools. Then I stumbled upon these. I could not be happier with this purchase. The quality is excellent. I would have loved to find something a little more inexpensive, but there's just not much out there in the way of tall bar stools, and these are totally worth the money. Plus, they were super easy to put together. The only hang-up we encountered was in screwing the seat onto the base. There weren't any pilot holes in the seat, so I had to sit on it while my husband laid underneath and screwed it on with his impact drill. Other than that, it was a breeze!

Love! Love! Love!

This stool is excellent for the bar table above your kitchen counter that separates your kitchen from the breakfast nook. Well built for the price. I seen this exact stool under a different name for $300.

If you are a 200 lb. person the back of the stool will tend to push you forward off the cushion. My skinny wife says they fit perfect.

GREAT STOOL FOR THE MONEY

We love our new Garrison Barstools! They are the perfect height for our bar, and very comfortable. The merlot seat is beautiful, and would compliment most decors. They were easy to assemble, with basically only having to attach the top and bottom together. They swivel 360, and have been perfect for our needs. We would recommend these barstools highly!

Handsome, stylish barstools!

These barstools look really nice. Easy to put together. The only problem I have with them is that the seat material scratches really easily, and I mean REALLY EASILY! I didn't even have them a week and all three of mine have scratches on the seats. They are so tall that kids have to climb up to get on them and their shoes will scratch them. My sister scratched one with her finger nail just by reaching across to grab something. Back pockets of jeans will scratch them. I can see that they will have to be recovered sooner than I would have wanted.

Very pretty, one drawback.

Our new home came with an odd (46 inches tall!) height kitchen bar. Seated on a standard 30 inch stool placed the bar at just under neck height.

We quickly learned that 34 inch stools are considered "custom", and thus much more expensive.

Sam's Club came through with these Garrison 34 inch bar stools at a large savings over the other versions available on the market! Quality is good and assembly was easy.

These are strictly adult stools. We would not seat a child on one of them. Neither would they be appropriate for senior citizens who have balance or other physical issues.

As "empty nesters" they work fine for us!

Best Solution for a "Too Tall" Problem

Needed some tall barstools but was discouraged by pricing from local furniture stores. Purchased these and recieved them very quickly, they were so easy to assemble and the quality is awesome. They look great and I'm very glad I looked on Sam's
Club website. You can't go wrong with these stools!!

The chairs look very nice and are a good value....
but they are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE
we are very disappointed and would like to return them.
