Well built , great looking and sturdy stool. Glad I bought and highly recommend. Quick delivery.

Great bar stool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks as nice or better than the photo. Super easy to put together.

Beautiful chair

walmart.com

We are happy with the Amisco low back counter height stools. As other reviewers had warned, they do make a whistling sound nearly every time you sit on them otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. The wood is a little cooler (darker brown) in color than I would have liked, but overall we are happy with many aspects: the comfort of the seat, the sturdiness of the chair, the ease of the swivel, and the way the low back slides beneath our counters. The chairs arrived 2 weeks earlier than the projected delivery date. They were simple to assemble.

Definitely whistles, but comfortable and well made

These are very nice chairs. They were a bit pricey so I would expect them to be of a higher quality. There was some assembly required as should be expected since they were shipped FedEx. So to that I would say someone should do a quality check to make sure all the hardware needed for such assembly is included, it was missing some bolts so off to the hardware store I go. Bolts acquired and back to assembly. 1st two were fine but the 3rd and 4th were a challenge. For whatever reason the holes did not line up properly so back to the hardware store to purchase a reaming bit for my neighbors drill. Yes I had to borrow a drill for this assembly. A few minutes enlarging the holes and the assembly was back underway. So if you are fortunate as I was with the first two you can get by with the tools listed to do the assembly but if parts are missing and holes do not align it turns a 15 minute per chair job into hours unless you have the available drill, reamer and extra hardware needed to complete the job. Bottom line is we are headed to a society that no longer has stores locally that stock quality items and we are being forced to buy from remote locations sometimes states away and with that some assembly required. I have no doubt if I had called Walmart they would have said bring them back or order replacement parts but that would have been more inconvenient and lost time than just fixing the issues. I always prefer to buy locally and support the local merchants but it is becoming more difficult all the time.

Quality Chairs just need a little quality control

These are nice quality and go well in my kitchen. They are heavy which is good and bad for me. The problem with them is that they only swivel if you are sitting in them. So, you have to pull it away from island to get in, then pull it forward. The whole point of swivel is to avoid that and with them being heavy, they are not fun to move each time you sit down. I regret buying them.

Only swivel if you are sitting in them…
