Andalou goodness

A couple of months ago I started having some reddish patches on my skin around my neck and shoulders. I thought I might be having an allergic reaction to the shampoo or soap I was using so I decided to look for something safer/gentler. I had been using "2n1's" for probably the last 30 years. I was ready for a change. I wanted to make a healthier choice. So I decided to try this Andalou product. I am very happy with it. Here is why. First, it really cleans your hair - strips off all the dirt and the chemicals left by your old shampoo/conditioners. You'll notice it doesn't suds up as much, but that is because they leave out the surfactants - the chemicals that other manufacturers add to make their product foam up - making you think it's cleaning. Andalou actually cleans your hair. Second, it really conditions your hair. It does this by nourishing your hair with botanicals, aloe, vitamins, minerals, etc. It makes it healthier and stronger. Even though it left my hair looking just a smidge frizzier, my naturally fine limp hair has more body, which I like. Other products add chemicals that make your hair "feel" smoother - but do it by adding chemicals - actually weighing your hair down. One of the big selling points of Andalou is that it has No Phthalates, No Gluten, No Silicones, No Sulfates, No Parabens No GMOs and is THC FREE. Plus it's affordable. I highly recommend it! Note: turns out the patches weren't an allergy - slight case of eczema.

I'm going to stick with this

After trying the trial size years ago, my boyfriend only uses other brands if we're waiting on an order, or the grocery store is out of stock of Andalou. He likes the the stickiness of it, because it makes it easier to apply without getting everywhere, it doesn't get used up in a few uses (like foam shave products), and the consistency helps his hair stand up straighter and longer (until it's cut.) The scent isn't feminine nor masculine - it's just clean. A little goes a long way.

No more Barbasol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My guy requests this every time I tell him I'm putting in an order. He likes the smell, but I think it's too minty (bordering on the smell of pot, which I abhor.) But it makes his razor glide smoothly and leaves his skin extra smooth, so I put up with the stink. Luckily, it fades within a few hours. Good, close shave. Cream doesn't look like it lathers well, though; it kinda disappears on wet skin.

I mean, my guy likes it, so it's good for him.

I've been using MEN Fortifying Shampoo + Conditioner 3 in 1 for about a year and am very satisfied with the product. It's gentle on my hair and cleans and conditions well.

Husband likes it!

My husband and I both love this product. We both have long hair and it leaves it clean, fresh smelling and soft. It is especially great for when we need a quick shower or go camping since our hair is cleaned and conditioned in one step.

Good for anybody!

A small amount of the shave cream gave me a nice, clean shave. Just what I was looking for and what I expect from Andalou. The shave cream is a nice compliment to their other men's products.

Nice and smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing this as a customer who recently purchased five units of the 'MEN Fortifying Shampoo + Conditioner 3 IN 1' from the online store.

I have been a satisfied user of this product since I tried it for the first time last year, and my previous experiences with it were positive, prompting me to order in larger quantities. Unfortunately, the recent purchase has left me quite dissatisfied, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention.

The discrepancies I have observed in the latest product are significant and have raised concerns about the product's quality. Firstly, the color of the shampoo is markedly different from what I have previously used.

Secondly, the sensory experience of the current shampoo is not consistent with my prior usage. The previous product provided a refreshing and cooling sensation on my scalp throughout its use, which I found to be one of its distinguishing features. Regrettably, the current batch lacks this distinctive quality.

Given these discrepancies, I am left with the impression that I may have received a different or possibly defective product. 

I am genuinely disappointed by this experience, especially since I wouldn't have purchased five units had I known that the quality would differ significantly from my prior in-store purchase.

Huge disappointment for product quality

This is the worst imaginable shaving cream. When I shaved a bit and then tried to rinse my razor under running water, nothing came off of the razor because the shaving cream isn't water soluble. Dealing with this stuff is an awful experience. But being environmentally responsible, I will use up the tube I bought (rather than throw it out) and then find something that gives me a better shave, probably soap in a mug with a brush. Maybe Andalou's other products are ok, but this one sure isn't.
