Quality

Value For Money

Good quality for the price. Held up for almost a year in heavy winds, with only minor tears on end. Replaced recently due to color fading but can be expected under the harsh conditions.

Good Quality at a reasonable price.

walmart.com

I had one of these that lasted for almost a year and a half, through a hurricane and a brutal Texas summer; the only reason I wanted to replace it is because that Texas sun managed to fade it to peach in that time and I like the bright orange, lol. I couldn't remember for sure where I got it and ended up buying one on another site that turned out to be vinyl instead of the ripstop nylon; the vinyl one was much stiffer and 3 days after I put it up outside, we had some 20mph wind and the vinyl one flew away. These ripstop ones are definitely the way to go. The wide mouth ring at the top is very sturdy and keeps the sock open, to catch every little breeze and that large opening also reduces the amount of damage that the wind does over time. Narrow openings take a worse beating, so those kinds of windsocks don't last as long.
I always have two windsocks mounted by the end of my driveway; this orange airport sock and the other one could be anything, depending on what currently makes me smile. The orange airport one is important, because it is how I direct visitors or deliveries to the correct driveway. Lots of people have cute ones like my other one, but few have an airport sock, so I'm easy to pick out of the crowd.
So glad I finally figured out that Walmart was the site that sells this, the best windsock; I'm going to buy another couple of them to keep in reserve, just in case. Yes, I like it that much.

Good value

Nicely made end stays open with inner frame. Comes.wit a swivel and snap hook to mount. Light strong material, might be real ripstop so it catches slight breezes and also should hold up in strong winds also. It is brilliant orange with reflective rings that do catch some light.

Neat item well made and works

Looks LIKE IT SHOULD HOLD UP OUT HERE IN IDAHO and you sure can see it Orange Got to Love it. Johnny G.

This wind sock seems to be good quality and is made very well. We'll see how long it lasts in the Florida sun...
