Love this phone. I needed to upgrade my phone and be compatible with Japan phone network. Many features without the $$$$$ price tag. Only downfall for me, it is a little large for a belt holster, so must carry in pocket. Overall, a happy camper.

Purchased this for my 21 year-old son. So far, so good that my wife wants one. I had a Moto X when it first came out. Bad choice. G7 has everything we need. If it holds up, it will probably be my next phone. We've been Samsung users in the past. Unfortunately their pricing has gone crazy, along with Apple. I'm old enough to remember that Motorola produced high quality electronics back in the day. Assuming this G7 holds up it may be a sign that Motorola has their mojo (or Moto) back again!

I love the phone plus I love how it is super compatible with my Google Assistant. I heard people saying it's bad that they are followed 
everywhere by the Google App but in my opinion that is the best it makes me feel super secure and safe. I feel that if something ever happened to me Google will help.

Everything about this device is great! Big step up from the G5+. I'd give it 5 stars for everything, EXCEPT the actual "using it as a phone" feature. As an actual phone, it SUCKS. Really, really SUCKS. Call volume fluctuates, calls drop. I can hear the caller just fine, but feedback is that they can only sometimes hear me. So if your device is for pictures and social media, this is a good buy. If you're in Sales (like me) and need to actually talk to people to make money, buy something else.

GREAT device, except for the "phone"

My moto g5 was really awesome. Took beatings like a champ with no case on it. Flew off my motorcycle during a wreck, hit and slide across the highway about 10 feet with just some dents around the edges. This phone though, you've spread the glass screen all the way to the edge which resulted in my screen shattering from a 5 inch drop to the bottom corner with a slim case. I won't buy anymore phones that put the glass near the edge just for it to shatter. It makes no sense.

Phone operates well, camera is so-so, the notch is really annoying. And since the glass is all the way to the edge it constantly reads touch inputs from my palm and finger tips that hold the phone.

Stop reducing the phones survivability

Awesome phone. Camera is amazing and screen has great picture. However it wasn't/isn't compatible with US Cellular. Cannot send texts more than 160 characters, MMS or pics to most people. Compatibility issue. There are different versions of Pixel phones. This one with the GA at the front of the model number has many bugs with certain providers. I spent DAYS trying everything to get it to function. Tech support from everywhere it was a nightmare. Tried multiple apps etc. Every angle I tried. Ended up sending the phone information to Google support for advice. They didn't solve my issue but I did learn from them that the phone I bought from walmart.com that was sold to me supposedly brand new, was actually in the system as being once used as a demo phone. I would've never known...or even cared tbh... It was a nice phone nonetheless, just the GA version isn't compatible across the board so you will have issues with other people you communicate with, guarantee it. Still, wasn't the happiest I was told it was new in box and turns out it actually wasn't...but Walmart has become Amazon gen2 so probably shouldn't have expected different. The case I ordered at the same time from Walmart took over 2 weeks to arrive because it apparently shipped directly from China.

Great phone...But beware!!

Item was refurbished.. seller did not mention this.. 
I spent 15 days trying to return this item with the seller and Walmart customer support.. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!

additionally contacted Walmart support five times seller four times and here we are almost a month after and I still don't have my money back

WASTE OF TIME! DON'T BUY FROM THIS SELLER

The seller didn't mention that it's a refurbished product. I returned  it. The earpiece doesn't work as a stereo speaker. And also there was  no cable for charging.

Refurbished product

Bought this less than a week ago. I put it on the floor to tie my shoe when I picked it up the glass was cracked, not joking. 

It still works, the glass is so delicate, I've never had anything like this happen before. Battery life is very weak because of the large screen and the need to put the display up to 100% because the display is not naturally bright.

I've not tried to get it replaced as the Motorola warranty pretty much eliminates anything useful, other than sitting in your home in a comatose state and staring at the phone, pretty much everything you do in life will void the warranty.

On the plus side the phone has good storage capacity, it's very fast and a very beautiful looking phone.

Plan on buying a new one of these every couple of weeks, unless you want to put some sort of military style case around it.

Even then a phone this delicate will break inside a case if you drop it.

DELICATE AND VERY SHORT BATTERY LIFE

I bought  three of these phones. One for my son, daughter, and me. This by far the biggest waste of money and the worst phones ever purchased. We can not send or receive texts to each other, but we can to all others. We can can not cast it to our TV's. The camera is terrible in low light. They randomly freeze, go black and requires a lot of restarts. They are terrible. I wished I would not have bought them. Having said that, they take awesome pictures with light, and the battery life is awesome. So is the turbo charge.
