[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this iPod as a backup for payment processing, so it works as anticipated. Only downside is some Apps crash/don't open (ex. Venmo, Chime) and factory reset doesn't work properly (clears data %26 apps but doesn't allow you to login with Apple ID to transfer from old device).

I love my new pink ipod. first ipod I received wouldn't charge so I had to send it back for a replacement. the replacement came in quicker than the first 1 and it works like it should with no problems. I always wanted one when the first ipod came out but my parents didn't have that kind of money so I forgot all about them then couple wks ago I decide to see if they still available to buy to my surprise they are and the husband told me I could order one.

I bought this for my 12 yr old daughter for her birthday! She wanted an iPhone but I don't think she is old enough to have a phone yet. But this is great and she can call her friends who do have a phone. But I like the ipod because I can set parental controls and also no monthly phone bill and way less money.

Great product

This works just like an iPhone without the GPS and cellular features.  I wish it would work with Apple Carplay, and that it had GPS.  Otherwise, this is an absolutely wonderful device that I use all the time for messages, email, and lots of other apps, especially home automation apps.

Wonderful, should not have been discontinued

Perfect gift for a tech hungry kid who isnt ready for a phone. They can text any iMessage devices and have their own music at the ready. My daughter added her school email as well as educational games for free time during virtual school day. Shes in the 4th grade. Gift for 10th birthday.

Great for kids!

I got one of these for my daughter who is 7. I feel that she is to young for a cell phone so this was a great alternative. We all have iPhones so as long as she is on Wi-Fi she can face time us. It's very user friendly. She is able to play games on it, message friends, listen to music , take photos and videos. She absolutely loves it!

Great Gift For A Kid!

Great phone for the price! bought this phone as a Christmas present for my son and he loved it he no longer has to use his old glitchy phone and is able to play all the games he wants and is able to enjoy watching his videos at high speed. I would really recommend this iPod if you are able to buy it than do it! Don't overthink and just buy it this iPod was a lifesaver and my son is now able to play his favorite game Roblox!

Great iPod!

I am very happy with the seller of the product, ElectroCell. They delivered my order by FedEx within two days. Even though this item is discontinued by Apple, it was brand new, package was original, unopened and intact. However, what is very upsetting, is what Apple does. The 7th Gen ipod is advertised as having 32Gb of memory, which should have been plenty for what I needed. But, what they don't tell you is that 17Gb of that space is taken by preloaded apps. Even after you go through and delete what you can, you still don't get a full 32 Gb worth of space. Secondly, and probably the worst part is what Apple has done with their iTunes updates. They act like "Big Brother" by reaching into your computer and controlling your audio information.  I' never had a problem before with previous versions of ipods, but this time it's different. I set my music up the way "I" want it, painstakingly taking the time to get all the information and artwork for each song. After all this work and corrections, I'll go open iTunes several days later and find that alot of information has changed, years, genres, etc... Also, when I tried to listen to certain audio recordings after syncing the ipod, I find certain songs haven't been loaded and it displays the following message: "This song is currently not available in your country or region." YOU"VE GOT TO BE KIDDING! Seriously?! I have several different genres of audio recordings and have never had an issue like this with any previous ipod version. If the recording is in my iTunes library (which it is), it shold be on my ipod. What the heck does Apple think they're doing?! Keep your hands out of my music!

Perfect for simple use

I understand that they are trying to control cost to make it affordable, but many obvious corners were cut to make it a very basic iOS device. In my opinion, Apple should:
1) Make the ipod bigger.  Need a bigger screen if I am actually using it to watch videos.
2) Larger battery and/or better battery life.  
3) Real GPS   
I don't mind paying more but we should have these options.

Not much has changed since the original iPod touch

I pod touch gets extremely hot when used for more than ten minuets.  How can I return for a replacement?
