This model is perfect for an 11 year old. It is slightly cushioned and the comfort is optimal according to my daughter. I bought the size XS. These are his first bras.

Weird fit. I am 5 foot 5 inch. I wear a med sports bra. This bras in the med fit me but the cut was too high under the arms. It cut into the skin . The  The straps were at the lowest. I tried the large and although the cups fit and it did not cut there was a huge gap at the back. I bought the Reebok double set of sports bras instead . The large fit perfect and they do not cut at all.

I've bought these sports bras for years as I loved their design, sturdiness, and cost.  Recently, Athletic Works changed the design for these Yoga Bras.  Where once the straps followed a traditional racerback (keyhole) design that anchored the two straps on two different points at the back (which allowed for better concealment under tank tops and other sleeveless shirts; as well as, better stability for long term wear), they now have both straps connected to a flimsy piece of triangular plastic at the same junction.  I am curious to see how long they will last in comparison with double the stress on a fragile piece of plastic.  I can comment that the current design makes the straps more visible so they frequently show under your clothing when wearing sleeveless tops.  If it's not broken, don't "fix" it.

New Yoga Bra Design

was too small for the size it was suppose to be

got home to these in a sopping wet brown paper bag. and one is completely stained with briwn marks from the paper bag. i tried to wash the srsins out and they won't come out.  im do dissapointed.  :(
