Loved the quality of this ottoman.  I purchased it in black and it was the perfect addition for our Southwest decor. It's beautiful and soft, with the opposite side of top in a cherry color wood.  It's not light so stays perfectly in place.  Very easy and quick to assemble.  Perfect for storing kids toys, games, and or blankets.  We've had many compliments.

The crimson red is looks like the just like the picture. You can turn the top over and use the other side as a serving table. Mine had a few scratches on the wooden side. The top is heavy, but I think that is a good thing. It has plenty of storage inside. I would by this one again.

Overall: great, versatile piece. Arrived packaged well, takes seconds to put together (just twist on 4 legs).  Seems to be good quality. Taking off 1 star because the "crimson red" color is much darker in person than in the picture. It's more of an oxblood, and doesn't match that well with my decor, which actually has crimson red in it.

THE QUALITY WAS GOOD.  THE PICTURE DID NOT REPRESENT
THE ACTUAL COLOR OF THE OTTOMAN.  THE ONE I RECEIVED
EVEN THOUGH THE CARTON SAID CRIMSON RED IT WAS
MORE BROWN.  IT HAD A FEW WRINKLES IN THE LEATHER.

WALMART REP STATED THAT WOULD GIVE ME A 40% REFUND
BUT THE COMPANYH STATED 20%  I AM IN MY 80'S AND 
I DECIDED THAT I DID NOT WANT TO GO THRU THE HASSEL
OF RETURNING THE OTTOMON.  IT HAS GREAT STORAGE.

HONEST

Came damaged due to poor quality products used.  Do not let the Bassett name fool you.  Damaged inside side storage compartment (Big hole)  plus side is outside caved in.

Cheap, cheap, cheap

Color is actually MAROON.  Must return.
Otherwise, very well built and good price.
