Really fast prepared fried rice in 1.5 minutes! Being Asian, I cook fried rice regularly with left over jasmine white rice. It's a bit of work to prep and put together. This is a nice and easy option for times when you need a side with that meat dish. Daughter also enjoys taking it for a school lunch.

Tried this on a whim and i really like it. Its the same sort of rice I usually get but the flavours are really rich and well balanced. I also like how it comes in an easy to use container and its been perfect for taking to work for lunch, even if I don't really need to physically be there because I sit on online meetings all day other than to give parking lot owners money every day. So it gives me a little bright spot in the day to actually look forward to.

Really Really Good

Ben's original bistro express fried style rice is perfect for  two people. The portion is a great side and tastes delicious. The texture is soft, flavourful, and has lots of veggie garments that make this product feel home cooked. If you need something for a quick dinner this item is perfect for you.

The Perfect side dish !

I normally make my own fried rice but bought this for a quick side dish. It is quick to prepare, is flavourful, has a great texture and is just enough for 2 people.

Surpringly Good

The rice is very convenient. Instructions easy to follow.  No cleanup if dishes, or mess to deal with. Was good tasting but did add a little soya sauce.

Easy peasy

If you are like me with busy little ones running around we don't always have time to make rice on the stove. This rice is the perfect solution. It is so quick and easy. Open it up and put it in the microwave and it's done in minutes. I use it to go with dinner and my husband also uses them as a quick lunch for work. If your in a rush these are highly recommended!

Fried style rice

I really like buying these small containers of rice to take to work and the taste was great.  I do find them a bit expensive but I guess you are paying for the convenience.

So convenient

I regularly bought Ben's Original Bistro Express until I recently noticed the Health Canada warning about the excessive sodium in this product. This will be my last time. Health is more important than taste and convenience at a certain point in my life.

Good taste, high sodium

Tried this for the first time and I thought it was ok. Followed the instructions step by step but the final product was still somewhat dry and unappetizing!
