This jasmine coconut rice is delicious and convenient to prepare. We used it for an Asian stir fry recipe and it was so delicious that my family had seconds. The coconut flavour is subtle but very tasty. The rice is cooked in the microwave so you have one less dish to wash. This package is family size so you can feed your family with one generous pouch. It's a bit more expensive but I would buy it again for the convenience and for the great taste.

You need to try this rice for your next stir fry!

Caddle

This rice is ready in 2 minutes. I put it in a bowl and microwave for 2 minutes, then toss it with a fork. It comes out soft and fluffy. This rice is slightly longer than regular rice and has a mild coconut flavor. This package has approximately 4 good servings.

Convlenient Tasty Rice

This is a very mild tasting rice product that is suitable for picky eaters.  It is fresh and has just the right amount of flavour to not be overpowering.

Great flavour!

I found the rice to be firm yet tasty. The flavours of coconut and jasmine were not to over powering that even my kids didn't complain. Good size for a family of four with no leftovers.

Family friendly and full of flavor

I really enjoy this Uncle Ben's rice!!!  It has a great flavour and I haven't seen anything else like it out there.  I like using it with “Tasty Bites” Indian sauces.  It goes really well with them and makes for a great lunch for me!!

The Jasmine Express Rice was quick to cook and had a delightful coconut flavour.  The family size makes it a little more affordable.
I would highly recommend for a quick side dish.

Nice Flavour

This side is delicious! Heats quick and easy in the microwave. Added chicken and veggies in the skillet with a few of our favourite spices. No flavour lost! A good dish for the whole family!

Oh my Ben's

My first impression of the family sized portion is this may feed 2 people. It is small and a family could not be fed on this. Anyway the taste was good. I like the light infusion of coconut amongst the rice. I like the taste of plain rice so this was nice and simple. I used it with chicken and made roasted veggies. I recommend this rice for someone who likes simple flavours.

Express Side Dish

We had the Ben's Original Bistro Express Family Size Jasmine Coconut Flavour rice tonight with our salmon filets and stir-fried veggies.  The rice was very easy to prepare-microwave for 90 seconds-2 minutes and it's ready.  The coconut flavour was VERY mild, almost non-existent.  The rice kernels were quite “sticky”, not loose grains.  I wouldn't have minded that issue (staticky rice) if that is what we were looking for - but we just wanted a nice/easy rice dish to go with the meal.  The bag has 3.5 servings (based on suggested serving on bag) so it would definitely feed 2 adults and 2 small children.  Not sure if we would buy this again.
