This was the easiest rice to make. Pop it in the microwave for 90 seconds or the frying pans for a few minutes to heat it up. Although quite orange/ red colored I was thinking it would be hot spicy, but it wasnt, it was full of spices and delicious. Great flavour and easy side dish or meal, to add other things into the rice.

I have tried many flavors of uncle bens express rice and the mexican is by far my favorite, especially in a taco!

This rice is the family's favourite. There is enough in the package for the whole family to enjoy. So easy to prepare.

This family format is super convenient for our family and on busy weeknights. The taste is excellent and well balanced, because I was afraid by buying it that it is spicy, but not at all.Ideal to accompany a steak or to make a Mexican themed dinner as accompaniment with empaadas etc...

A trip for the taste buds!

Rice is done quickly. With a good texture. Flavour is not too strong and goes well with other Mexican dishes meaning there's no need to splash out with a take out. I wish the packaging was a bit more sustainable, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Mexican Rice Done Right Fast

Bens bistro express Mexican style rice is easy to prepare and tastes great. Whenever we make burritos, tacos or enchiladas we use this rice as the base. Just enough spice and kick to add the flavour we need for an authentic meal.

We tried the Mexican rice with fajitas.
I followed the directions to break up the rice before I put it in the microwave. I found it did not completely heat through. I also found it was hard and not very tasty. I was disapointed, as I thought it would be a nice addition to our dinner.

This is not delicious. I bought two. Microwaved one - it was hard and grainy feeling and one for the stovetop. That didn't turn out well either. I even tried frying it the next day and placing in a burrito- no go. Won't buy again. Maybe you'll have better luck
