Taste

This is a great go to for our family when we want rice added to any dish and we don't want plain white rice. It has great flavor and is also very easy to make. We love using it and recommend it as a side dish.

Ben's original bistro express Mexican side dish is simply fantastic in taste, amazing flavor and perfect quality ingredients!

Just Superb

I buy Ben's Original Bistro Express rice packages to keep on hand at work for a quick lunch.  The Spicy Mexican Style flavour was really good, I was quite impressed!  If your “heat/spice tolerance” is on the lower side I would not recommend this flavour.  But if you like spicy foods you will like this flavour of rice!  Will buy again!

Tasty rice dish and easy to prepare

The Ben's original bistro express spicy Mexican style rice is a great choice for rice. It is easy to prepare and has a great taste as well.

Ben's original rice

This rice taste like nothing special. It was not really spicy. Basically it tasted like taco seasoned   rice. Lots of Cajun blends of smokey, savory and salty. I am not a big fan of mexican fare. It is not for my pallet and this is why I am not recommending this product.

Nothing Special

I love spicy food, so the spice level on this rice was more than perfect for me. It could have even been a little more spicy and would have been fine for me. The rice although feels hard in the package softens up nicely once heated. It comes out perfect in the microwave and I love the texture of the rice, it's not too mushy. Also, the rice is very flavourful like eating a barrito. I would recommend this product to people who like Mexican and spicy food.

Spicy style rice

We usually like everything Mexican, but this one just tasted like tacos. Not really our favorite. I guess other people could like it better than us.

Spicy Or Not

It was horrible! It had a weird underlying taste that I've never experienced before. Maybe it's all the chemicals added to it...
