So happy I always buy the smaller packages and end up on by two or three finally found this one the family size did not have to make extra one bag was perfect for the whole family instead of just doing your traditional rice. I actually made Spanish rice, so I mixed it with tomato sauce and hamburger so it was like a spaghetti only with rice. Some of the vegetables were already hit inside my so, my kids didn't even see them The best

Vegetables, yes please !

I liked this as a good side dish for almost anything you are making.  It would work for probably 4 people, we are only 2 so we have two meals out of it.  Taste is good and it is fast and easy.

Good side dish

I added my mother to our household and one package was not enough of the smaller ones, but 2 was too much. This size is just right! Good flavour as well, goes with everything.

Perfect for 3 people

I think Ben's Original Bistro Express Vegetable Medley Rice in the family size option is a great addition to any meal. It's flavourful, and I really like the addition of the vegetables. My only critique is that the rice is a bit dry compared to other Ben's Bistro Express rice. I had to add a little extra water or broth to give the rice the fluffy, moist texture I prefer with rice.

Really good, but a bit dry

Bens is the name for rice! The original bistro express vegetable medley is great as a side dish by itself but we like to combine it with bens original rice, giving a milder but delicious flavour to our normal rice dish.

Nice Rice!

Quick side dish for a busy family. I made it in a pot and it took a bit to get it apart. I recommend covering with a lid and using low heat for longer than the package indicates. My kids really liked the taste.

Quick and yummy

We were not pleased with this product the rice would not separate like they  mentioned to do before placing in microwave. We still found it was clumpy and sticky. Will not purchase again

Too STICKY

We added chicken and egg into this rice to make a chicken fried rice. It was a super easy and convenient dinner but we found that the rice was a really soft texture even when following the cooking directions.
