Taste

We ate this rice as an accompaniment, but I think that by adding some vegetables or pieces of sausages, it would also be very good as a quick meal. This product is very convenient, especially if you do not have access to a stove (residences, hotel, etc.). I highly recommend it.

Excellent as an accompaniment, even a quick meal

Caddle

I love having some Ben's original in my pantry when I am in a hurry to have a delicious sidedish ready in minutes. The spicy cheddar and jalapeño tastes great. Love the cheese with a little spicy  jalapeño to elevate the flavor in my plate. The texture is just perfect. Making rice can be difficult and long, but Ben's makes it easy and enjoyable to make!

Quick And Delicious

This rice was delicious! It had a good cheesy flavour with the perfect heat from the jalapeño. We have not seen this one before and it was nice getting something different.

Delicious flavour!

As a family we all enjoy the jalapeño cheddar rice it's not to hot just right for even the youngsters to enjoy… it's quick (2 minutes) and delicious a wonder alternative to potatoes .. inexpensive and delicious..

Spicy rice

A delicious combination between the sweetness of cheese and the intensity of chili. It wakes the taste buds gently. There is still a cheese of character.

The Cheddar

This was a delicious surprise! Our family enjoyed the Ben's original spicy style cheddar jalapeño rice with some chicken and veggies and it was fantastic! Great flavour and great quantity. I would highly recommend.

Delicious part of any meal

I was disappointed with the flavour strength of the Ben's Original Soucy Style Cheddar Jalapeno Rice.  I did not find it spicy at all and the cheddar flavour was lacking to almost non-existent.  The only positive to this product is that it cooks quickly (90 seconds-2 minutes in the microwave) but based on the lack of flavour I will not buy this product again.

Flavour is lacking - not spicy at all

Tried the jalapeño cheddar rice tonight, last of the 4 flavours I bought, and it was not my favourite. It was a little flat in flavour, except for salt. I rather enjoyed some others but without the Caddle incentive I never would have paid the high price for them.

Fast but flat

I was hoping for more; more cheddar taste and more heat. Could barely taste the cheddar and only one mouthful had any heat to it. I'll pass next time and try a different flavour.

Just “okay”

I didn't just like the taste of cheese; I thought it tasted chemical and I don't like to eat spicy so I love trying new products but it's not really for our family!

Very disappointing!
