The Men’s Skyliner Full Length Base Layer Pant from BlackStrap® is a multi-functional all-season shred companion. From slashing deep pow to spring slush, the Skyliner series handles it all. Critical construction elements include the Ventra System allowing air movement where your body sweats the most, a soft-flex waistband, and a 4-way stretch that makes the ankle cuffs easily worn at ¾ length without restriction.

Blackstrap

I never had high standards for baselayers, as long as they kept me warm, but that's changed. I love the fit and feel, plus there are endless rad designs to choose from. Highly, highly recommend both the top and bottoms for ripping laps at the resort and backcountry missions. And they're made in the USA in Bend, Oregon. I'm all in.

Super Stylish and Functional Baselayers

These pants worked great for me! I typically run pretty warm, in combination with wet/humid days in the Pacific Northwest, it can be a problem. These pants balanced that, keeping me warm while simultaneously pulling the sweat away from my skin. I haven't had a chance to try them in temperatures below 20 fahrenheit yet.

GREAT for PNW

Bought of pair of these from my local sporting goods store, based on their advice, and I am hooked.  Ordered several more pairs as did my friends who I told about these products.  They are  not inexpensive but by far the best you can buy.  GET SOME NOW AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

AMAZING product

Good base layers are hard to come by, but Blackstrap really nailed it with this one--these pants have the perfect fit, not too baggy but not too tight to be constricting. The material is amazing and unlike any of the competition, you will never be too hot or too cold in these. Will be replacing all my old long underwear with Blackstrap asap!

Finally the perfect pant baselayer

these base layers are seriously so dope! love how they perform and keep you warm yet also allow you to stay ventilated when you start working up a sweat, great for touring back country and ripping laps at the resort

EFFICIENT SWAG

I live in a 100 year old house in Minnesota and I love the fit and feel of these for sleeping in as well as riding. The perfect base layer for active winter activity.

these pants are my fav for backcountry as well as resort shredding, breathable as well as nice and cozy on a super low temp day as a base layer. the material they're made of is my favorite part! super comfy and great for all types of winter shred

The material is super comfortable and stayed dry and warm all day during blizzard conditions

Perfect

I've tried several ¾ base layer pants and it is tough to find something that checks all boxes.  Compression tights are....well too tight.  I tried IceBreaker Oasis 200 ¾ and they fit well, except they left the end of the ¾ calf non-tapered so they tend to creep up the leg towards the knees.  

This Skyliner ¾ is the opposite of the IceBreaker...the calf area fits great, snug so it will not ride up, but not too constrictive.  Unfortunately, the fit of the rest of the area is a bit baggy.  

I got the Medium size, as I am a 31 waist, figuring since the range started at 31 I'd be at the snugger end of the fit range.  It's not a bad fit, just was hoping for a bit more skin contact.  Without uniform skin contact, the moisture wicking properties are a bit less effective.

Will still give them a go this season and alternate with my other two options to see which one wins the battle.  

Material feels like good quality, nice soft texture and I do like the ventilation.
