[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the adjustability of this balaclava! The double layers and ability to set a looser fit prevent fogging of my goggles, while ensuring my face stays warm on stormy days.

Love the adjustability!

Blackstrap

So awesome!
It took me this long to realize it goes best over my helmet rather than under it 😂
I love it and do recommend it to friends on the
Mountain.
Although it wasn't the one I had picked out in my order I am still enjoying it.
Idk what happened to the cursive “Blackstrap” logo on the hood I ordered but this one will do :)

Team Hood Balaclava with cursive logo??

Excellent outer layer fit! I own multiples of the Expedition and OG balaclavas as well as the Daily Tube Neck Gaiter. The Team Hood is definitely as advertised with a looser overall fit than any of the others. I'm out delivering mail all day, often in the rain and heavy snow, and this hood works really well as an outer layer worn over one of the tighter Blackstrap balaclavas or over the neck tube. It fits nicely over my postal cap or beanie and provides the perfect extra layer between my head and the elements! The adjustable toggles are super easy to reach and use to tighten it up when the weather gets blustery. I can even adjust them with my heavy, clumsy lobster claw snow mittens . All my Blackstrap gear looks cool as hell and the Team Hood in Terrain Alpenglow is no exception. I consistently get compliments and questions of “where'd you get that???” from customers and coworkers alike.

Comfy/Roomy/Cool

Love. Comfortable, soft, adjustable and fits under helmet nicely. Was worried it wouldn't stay up over my nose but it did no problem with and without goggles. For goggles, I pull it up over my nose, put my goggles over it and pull it down to adjust. Almost completely windproof! Wore it on 10 degree weather with 25 mile and hour gust and I was completely comfortable. Game changer for real

Winner.

I bought this one and the regular version. I liked the adjustable better because it was loose on my face. The regular one feels too tight on my face when i push it below my chin. I like to wear these all day so i prefer to keep it below my chin until needed over my mouth or nose.

Adjustable hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fit! The hood can go over hats and under helmets.

I love the fit!...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wearing this under my helmet kept warm for hours on the mountain.

Cozy and cute

This product was exactly what I expected. Purchased as a gift for my husband. Fit was good, not too snug, fit was just like the photo. Fabric is soft and breathable.

Perfect for north east night time skiing

Too small. Need larger sizes. Need more accommodations for different sized heads and helmets. Too tight so these are useless to me. I'll have to go with Seirus until BlackStrap is more accommodating for us big head folks. Also like to see much thinner summer wind and sun options and some functional magnetic options for any goggles or maybe even sunglasses. Oh and the use of neoprene or stiffer materials to direct the breath away from fogging glasses or goggles as well as to help keep all the materials from being end sucked into or onto the mouth and nose when breathing heavy.

Unaccommodating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited that this balaclava is adjustable, however the adjustable bungees only work on the head covering portion, and the nose/neck covering portion is really loose, so a lot of cold air still comes in.

Soft and good for a hat; not great to cover fac...

Horrible. Buy the Expedition. This is unbelievably bad….design flawed - the pull tabs are awful under a helmet …this is a perfect example of tweaking something to charge more money and total fail….I have 9 expedition hoods and they are great. Stupid Stupid design….

Team Fail….Buy the Expedition
