Lace Quality

I recently receives a pair of the hikers. When I first opened them I was uncertain of the color, but they are awesome! They are so comfortable, my current go to shoe now especially with the winter, and they match just about everything. I couldnt be more pleased!

Versatile and comfort!

Bogs

The boots are comfortable, waterproof and perfect for this time of year! Comfortable like a sneaker, light as can be and waterproof. The zipper on the side makes it super easy to slide them on and off instead of having to lace them up everyday though I'd still give a raving review even if they were strictly laced! I needed a boot/shoe for commuting back and forth to work. There hasn't been a ton of snow so I didn't want to break out the winter boots just yet and these are perfect for me! I get compliments on them daily and always recommend them to others!!

Favourite 2023 purchase!

Totally waterproof hiking boots, perfect for mud season. I normally wear size 12 shoes but these only go to 11 and they fit well after being broken in. This is actually my second pair - I love them so I bought a backup pair for when my old ones wear out.

Totally waterproof

These feel great on, fit true to size, and look so good I was eager to put together an outfit based on them. I already have the classic rain boots and this time I bought these, the Juniper Hiker, and the Juniper Insulated. On the West Coast, it's important to have boots that can do it all - dry sidewalks, dirt paths, rainy puddles, and Whistler or Valley snow, and Bogs don't disappoint. I was thinking how I came across Bogs in a store years ago, told my sisters about them, and send links of their sales to friends - but rarely see them advertised. It really is the word of mouth - those who get them, love them, and it shows.

Great fit, comfort, wear & look

These are my second pair of Juniper hiking boots, and I am pleased to be able to get them again. I find it very hard to buy boots that fit my feet and do not cause pain when I walk. These boots fit perfectly, and are so comfortable, I actually enjoy walking in them. I used them as a winter boot for two years with my feet never getting cold nor having problems slipping on ice. Thank you for a great product.

Wonderfully comfortable

over the past 10 years I have purchased 3 pairs of bogs. They are stylish, and very good quality easy to slip on which makes it nice if you need to go slip out quickly. I still have the first pair I purchased 10 years ago, however they will need replacement.

stylish, good quality

I usually wear an 8 and it said they fit true to size so I ordered the 8 and they were snug so I exchanged them for an 8.5 which were snug with no sock on. Am just waiting to hear from them if I can exchange for a 9 so I can get a sock on in them

Fit smal

I really like the look of these boots (the brown ones) - I get tons of compliments! After the first couple of wears they're really comfortable and light, too. However after less than ten wears - all of which were city/indoor walking - there is a lot of noticeable wear: fraying fabric edges, flaking off the side of the sole, and most importantly one of the metal fasteners that connects the laces to the shoe came off. They're still wearable, but I don't think they're very durable.

Cute and Comfortable but Not Durable

I was excited when I saw these boots and ordered without any other reviews, I wish I would have waited. First the good: they are extremely lightweight and comfortable. That's about it. The bad: the color is way off from the tan/brown color shown online, in reality they are almost pink and definitely not my style. They're also not durable at all, the main part of the shoe is like a foam that scratches just looking at it, I can't imagine after an actual hike. They ran very large, I ordered my true to size 6.5 and they looked giant on me and my foot slipped around inside. Despite all this I almost considered exchanging for a smaller size and maybe the green color because they were THAT comfortable, but for the price I needed something more durable. Had to return.

Wanted to love them but didn't

I live in the mountains of Colorado, and was looking for a waterproof boot that I could wear out and about. It's not a very feminine look, but that's OK by me. I like the way it looks with how I dress. But why they would call these boots "hikers" is beyond me. They are neither comfortable nor uncomfortable. They absolutely would not hold up on any form of a hike that went beyond a pavement parking lot. The nubuck gets dingy and dirty very quickly. The godforsaken soles of the shoe hold onto every grain of dirt, mud, mag chloride, snow, grit, etc. There is literally no amount of wiping, stamping, rinsing that gets dirt and rocks out of the bottom of the shoe pattern, and my house is an absolute wreck. They are waterproof though lol. If this is the look that you're into, they're cute. But they're not functional for anything other than keeping your feet dry or looking decent, and again, they don't look decent very long because of the make up of the shoe

I like the look of this boot, but that's about it.

I bought these specifically because they were supposed to be waterproof. I was replacing a pair of the Bogs slip on chelsea boots, which I loved. I work at an animal shelter and we hose down the kennels everyday and my feet will get splashed with water. The Juniper is not waterproof, not even water resistant. My feet get soaked every time. Comfortable shoe though, just not as advertised.
