I put the chocolate in the food processor to break them down into chunks then add them to my baking. The chocolate is completely sugar and sweetener free and is a dark rich chocolate. I find that in my cake and cookie recipes there is already enough sweetness and this chocolate adds the right amount of chocolate flavor. (good for diabetics.) It is kosher and parve.

I chop, melt and add a bit of honey or maple syrum to get a lightly sweet chocolate coating for cookies, cakes, and dried fruit.

Best 100% chocolate! No added calories by way of sugar etc.
It's unfair to compare this with < 100% chocolate (whether made in Belgium, Switzerland or heaven) for taste.

Best price!

Always consistent results.  I learned to bake with my grandmother, and she used Baker's.  Now more than 60 years, it still is the best for chocolate butter cream frosting and any other recipe that calls for unsweetened chocolate.

Good product for baking but it's getting expensive for such a small bar of it.

Despite all the recipes which call for semi-sweet or "dark" chocolate, this is what I've used for decades. Baked goods made with unsweetenecd chocolate last longer without refrigeration than others do, I think.  This month's success was gluten-free Joy of Cooking brownies made with besan flour, which baked surprisingly quickly and were rich and moist. Only 4 stars because I'm annoyed the Baker's brand had gone with flat bars instead of the cubes which I could count on to melt predictably in the microwave oven.

The best

Take a bite of this chocolate and a bite of a 90% 4-dollar dark chocolate bar from a Swiss or a Belgium company, and you will know what product you should use. Whether it is for baking or eating, it all goes into your body. If you are trying to save money, then this is chocolate is for you.

It's OK.

I bough this product on 23rd Dec 2024, however the best before was 25th Nov 2024. Wonder why will Walmart have product on the shelf beyond best before. It ruined our plans..
