Just as described, soft cloth on top side and protector underneath and no noise when you move around in bed. Have not tested but it's made the same way our last protector was that we paid 70 for. We bought 2, a king and queen size protectors at this great price.

Great protector

Thinner (but still waterproof) and much more comfortable than the thick padded mattress pads. Easier to clean (not as bulky and easy to wash and dry) whereas the thick mattress pads when wet were very bulky and took forever to dry, plus the plastic backing melted too easily in the dryer.

The Bare Home Premium Mattress Protector is really nice! This mattress protector is easy to put on the bed, it's quiet, and it works well. This mattress protector is extremely easy to get on the mattress, it is put on like a fitted sheet and the size is perfect for my queen mattress. The bottom is elasticized so it stays on the mattress really well too. The mattress protector has a terry cloth top that is made out of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, so it is very soft and it makes no noise when moving around on it which is really nice. The sides of the mattress protector are made out of 100% polyester, so it's very stretchy and fits up to an 18” deep mattress. The waterproof lining is 100% polyurethane laminate, which works really well as a moisture barrier. This mattress protector is very easy to care for, it's machine washable and dryable.

All in all, this is a really nice mattress protector! It's very easy to use, it's easy to put on the bed, it's quiet, and it works well! I would absolutely recommend it!

Quiet & Works Well!

I didn't like the fact that it wasn't a complete cover for Dust Mites. I thought it was suppose to cover the mattress with the zipper; it encloses the mattress but it was not as I expected! I thought it would enclose the mattress with that vinyl or whatever you call the material.

Not as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress pad is paper thin. It has a very thin Terry cloth like fabric on the top side and the underside is a thin plastic type material. This is EXTREMELY thin! There is no barrier besides that thin terry cloth to protect the body from the unbeeathable bottom layer. This is not something I will continue using for my child. I do not recommend this product.

Not a fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not even waterproof what kind of false advertising is this? I bought this for my child's first bed and the moment he had a small accident. It went right through the protector. I wouldn't even consider this water resistant do not buy do not recommend I will be returning but now I have a stain on a brand new mattress very disappointing. I don't know how all these reviews are positive. But I'm a real person and I can tell you it's not even that soft.
