Afghan Making

Forever Fleece is a dream to work with! So soft and warm! Made a blanket with a 9 mm hook. In hind sight, I used have used a 10mm hook. Fabric was very thick and the blanket could be considered a weighted blanket which is great for the recipient.

Weighted blanket

Yarnspirations.com

I can't get enough of the lovely creations I can make from using Bernat Velvet and crushed velvet yarns! I also enjoy the Forever Fleece. Fun to work with!

So Soft!!

I had started a throw blanket a couple years ago. I decided I needed a couple more balls of yarn to finish, only to find NO ONE had the colors I needed. Luckily I found them here and am very greatful.

Colors i needed

I made a couple small afghans with this yarn, it was easy to work with. These yarns don't split like some of the 4-ply yarns that are popular right now. I make Afghan to sell, and these afghans sell fast.

I literally love this yarn! I just realllllllly REALLY REALLY want more solid colors ! I noticed there really isn't a brown color, can't tell if Bergamont is brown? This yarn is so soft and unique. I'm baking stuffed animal loveys and I just want more usable colors! I don't ever really like the mixers color balls of yarn. It's not the result I'm going for. I like solids instead of being trapped into a multicolor ball. I hope you guys take this feedback!! Browns, greens, oranges l, reds, I do love the pinks and greys thought. Just want more so I can buy all the colors!

LOVE the yarn, just want MORE color options!!

I love this yarn it's easy to work with and so warm I made a sweater

Cozy sweater yarn

This yarn is so soft and easy to work with! I made a stuffed bear and am now working on a warm and cozy sweater! Love this yarn!

Bernat Forever Fleece Yarn

This yarn is vety soft and ends up with a lovely product. You do have to watch the variegated yars if you are knitting as they tend to split. But it is easy to recover.

Very soft and pretty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this thinking it would crochet up similar to the Bernat Blanket yarn, and it isn't as fluffy and doesn't even seem like a 6 weight. It IS incredibly soft, so I'm still using it to see how the blanket turns out. This might be a good yarn for a sweater or a scarf or a baby blanket.

Wasn't what I was thinking but still really good!

This yarn works up really well and is super soft and cozy. As many of the Bernat products, the number of joins is horrible. In 1 ball I had 2 half joins (where half the threads were joined) and 2 full joins. Those 2 joins were ony 5 feet apart. Another ball had 1 half join and 1 full join. I can only imagine what I will find in the other balls. In this day and age, there is absolutely NO excuse for this. This yarn is not cheap, so I expect better. Do better Bernat.

Love the yarn, hate the joins

I love bernat blanket yarn! Have made multiple blankets out if it from lapghans to king-size. I live bernat blanket thick! I make tons of blankets out of this! Because of the reviews I purchased enough of this online to make a queen sized blanket. I tried different hook sizes, different stitches, tried combinations of stitches... it was the worse yarn I've ever worked with! In the 6 skeins I'm stuck with I had no less than 4 to 8 knots in each skein, but the last skein only had 2 knots. I don't give up easily. It's why I got through 6 skeins. It was peppermint. Before I tore out my blanket and started over I decided to see if it softened up in the wash. I washed my swatch 4 times hoping that it would get softer. It didn't it got rougher! So I'm stuck with 6 skeins of yarn I'll never use. Which stinks! But at least I got to return all the other skeins. Now I have to find a color and price of bernat blanket to make my queen sized blanket. The reviews are why I bought it. I was at my local craft store and saw skeins of it again and it was the tweed one and the yarn was a lot softer and was a chunkier yarn. The skeins I had said to use a 9mm crochet hook and the yarn was only thick enough for a 7mm at the most. The tweeds in the store could've easily used a 9mm hook.

Forever fleece stinks! Love blanket yarn!
