I've used Bernat Super Value for several projects now, and it really lives up to its name. If you are looking for a reliable, all-purpose acrylic yarn, this is a fantastic choice. Here is why I keep coming back to it:
Amazing Value: With 440 yards in one skein, you get a lot of mileage. It's perfect for larger projects like afghans or sweaters where you don't want to be constantly joining new balls of yarn.
Color %26 Texture: The "Taupe" is a beautiful, rich neutral that pairs well with almost anything. While it's a standard acrylic, it isn't overly scratchy and actually softens up quite a bit after a quick wash with some fabric softener.
Ease of Use: This %234 worsted weight is very easy to work with. It doesn't split easily, which makes for a smooth experience whether you are knitting or crocheting. The stitch definition is also very clean.
Durability: One of the best things about this yarn is how easy it is to care for. It's machine washable and dryable, and it holds its shape well without excessive pilling.
Final Verdict: This is my go-to for projects that need to be durable and budget-friendly. It's high quality for an acrylic and the color selection is always great.

Excellent Yardage and Great Stitch Definition!

I am knitting a striped scarf, and I saw this color being used in the UK.  It is teamed with another color and is unusual and eye catching.  I have to say that I copied someone else as I wouldn't have had the originality to do it myself.  This pink is unusual.  The yarn is good for what I need and will also go well with a patchwork blanket I am knitting.  It is good too for when knitting for a teddy bear or dolls.

It came quickly. My son wanted me to make him some bedtime leg warmers. And this yarn worked great. very good quality and a nice size roll. Made a pair of leg warmers and still have enough to make 2 more pairs or two hats. The color was exactly what we wanted too, very dark gray.

The product was great as it always is. My only issue is that the project I'm working on requires lrg balls of yarn but online the cost is $30 per ball and I need 6 balls, all the other colors that are same size are only $12.97? I'm a bit confused!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect color. I needed a color that went with the baby blanket I'm crocheting and could find one at my local store but on the Walmart app I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and at a great price. Glad I didn't have to comprise in the colors i wanted to use and it didn't take very long at all for the order to ship. My package even came a day earlier than it was supposed to.

Love the color and works up nicely while crocheting. Took forever to get here, but understand with the whole pandemic thing going on (so can't fault them for that). It's not super soft, but it's not scratchy either. No knots in entire roll. Will probably purchase Bernard super value yarn again in the future for other projects.

Good price. Even better was the fact that I had gone to 4 craft stores and could not find the color that I wanted. Low and Behold I somehow came up with WALMART.COM and there it was.
No more running around and spending $$ on gas. It was shipped to the store and arrived 4 days earlier than the proposed date of arrival.............Thank you WALMART...........for a job not only well done, but also in advance of the target date and FREE Shipping. Who could ask for anything more ??? Appreciate it all.... You are the greatest. :) :-)

Love the yarn

I was very surprised that this inexpensive yarn was as soft and smooth as it was for such a low price. Bernat Super Value Yarn lives up to its name. I have used Red Heart's super saver yarn and found it to have a bit of a rough, scratchy feel as it slides across my hands when knitting or crocheting. Bernat Super Value is much softer. The color I bought is much more beautiful than I expected as well. Add to all this the fact that my site-to-store order arrived much sooner than promised!

Surprising quality for the price

Quality is 1st rate. Love Bernat products, yarns, needles, hooks, kits, even though they're pretty pricey. Needles %26 hooks are smooth making your work go more easily.  Just sorry more shops don't carry this brand.

Wonderful yarn to knit with BUT it's impossible to find the end inside because I prefer to pull my yarn from inside. But I gave that up and bought a spindle so I could pull from the outside. Well, impossible to put it on a spindle because it is wound so tight!  So it just has to roll around before!  
However, much better yarn than another well known brand that I will not use!  I will chase it around on my floor before I will use the other brand.

If you are going to make yarn maybe don't put five factory knots in one ball and several in all the others I ordered. Your yarn quality for size is so inconsistent it might as well be marketed as fancy yarn it goes from a worsted to almost a size 2 yarn in some areas while another color ends up being fully thin all the way through compared to the same brand of yarn in a different color that's thick like a worsted. The amount of money ppl put out in your products there shouldn't be so many inconsistencies this was hardly an issue if ever one several years ago. SADLY this isn't the only yarn you guys always mess up.
