Unfortunately, the pieces of the bookcase came damaged. We purchased 2 of them, so we put together one full bookcase with good pieces. Called the company and was completely satisfied that they would replace the damaged pieces. However, when they came, they too were also damaged. It seems the shipper you use does not handle the material - damage was definitely in the shipping at the "pinch" points of the nylon banding material - unfortunately you can't see it until you open the box. Consideration should be made to change shippers. We purchased a Murphy Bed which came in 3 boxes (very large) and there was not one piece damaged. Different shipper.

I love this bookshelf! it's good construction and easy to put together.  I'm buying two more!

Really poor quality but looks okay when assembled. Part of one shelf had the finish scraped off, revealing the particle board underneath. My teenage son was pleased with it, but unless you are a teenager or a young person furnishing your first apartment, I would NOT recommend this bookshelf. I don't think it's going to last long. Spend a little more and go to IKEA if you need budget furniture. I would not purchase this again.

Two stars but added a third since the kid likes it

The numbered pieces didn't match the numbers in the instruction booklet. Instructions were confusing. 
One side of bookcase was damaged (FedEx).

Instructions Confusing

The bookcase is not the quality I expected for the money. It arrived damaged on one of the sides which was not visible until the last steps of putting it together. The backing is cheap cardboard which is not cut correctly and we had to do some adjustments to make it fit. Not worth the money

Don't recommend this item - Poor Quality
