These cube shelves are very spacious to fit a variety of large oversized books or decor items. We have moved them to different rooms %26 used the in different ways to divide a big game room into areas and back to back for a larger play space too for kids with their toys. They are very sturdy! They wipe clan easily! We have the white ones %26 the wood in 2 shades. We put some cubes in the Kids playroom; Sewing room; family room; bedroom. We have several sizes- 4 cube, 6 cube %26 8 cube. Sometimes we have them vertical for lots of book’s - looks nice %26 organized! In some rooms we use the 8 cube horizontally for a lego play building surface for the kids like in the family room and keep baskets of Legos inside neat cubes below! The Better Himes %26 Gardens Brand is top quality 3.5” larger in each cube, than the other cube shelves sold - and totally worth the cost!! Stable, easy to assemble and look great after 7 years! And we even moved 600 miles with them!! Fantastic cube shelves! Our young grandkids put the recent set together!! So easy! We have a 4000 sq ft home and use these all over! They are the best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super easy to put together! I opened the box laid out the pieces and after that it took about (15) or so minutes! With the dog trying to help lol It’s a beautiful unit and it is sturdy! I have cubes in my children’s bedrooms and they are very versatile. I really like the (6) cube one because you can stand it up or lay it flat. If you’re looking to spruce up your new or old space this is definitely worth it! I will say I have purchased other cube units and they fell apart faster than the Better Home and gardens line. After having these ones I’ll never purchase a different cube. 

The only negative thing I can say is I bought this exact same (4) cube and the new unit is smaller by a half inch. I did call better homes and gardens (who was VERY helpful and I got right to a person) and she informed me that they did change manufacturers. She offered to assist me with returning it and was very accommodating. I definitely did not want to return it and was grateful that I didn’t make an error. I love the look of these so much that I am purchasing a second one and will use the “old” one somewhere else.

Assembly with ease

I brought this item for short term use in the grandkid's room to organize their toys and books . easy to put together  myself. Looks beautiful   I would not recommend for heavy items perfect for toys, lightweight items, and books.

i dont like that everything nowadays is partical board, but this is really quite nice. i use it to keep the grand kids games, puzzles and art supplies.

This cabinet is perfect on its own and was very easy to put together.

I subtracted 1 star because it is smaller in height by almost one inch from the exact same item I bought about 5 years ago. I wanted a matching set and the new one is pretty close but not fully the same.

I'm still happy with it and plan to keep it, especially for such an affordable price. The color is decent and it accepts the older 13" cubes I had already bought.

This is a very product. Easiest assembly/best instructions I’ve seen. Super simple and easy for one person to do alone. No tools needed other than the included Allen wrench. 

It lost a star because (1) the screws don’t sink, they stick out slightly above the wood, and (2) their solution to this (little black plastic caps) doesn’t always stay attached when you slide the bookcase/cube over carpet. If they find a solution for this, it is definitely a five star product.

I love this brand, the organizer itself is very sturdy, easy to put together and doesn't take long to assemble. Overall I love it, I just wish it came in espresso or a brown so I didn't have to paint it myself.

I wanted to love this. I realize it says “textured” but I still assumed that since it’s actually more more than the ikea kallax - there would be a finish on top. This unit would be fine if you never intend to get it wet.. but there is absolutely no finish on the outside that will prevent it from being ruined when wiped down. It’s also the type of texture that “grabs” the fibres on the cloth when wiped. 

Definitely not what I was expecting and wouldn’t expect it to last long term. 

The only reason I gave it three stars is because I mean it’s a shelf, it will be fine for a closet or something maybe that doesn’t need to be cleaned often.

I wanted to love it. NOT the same as IKEA..

Easy assembly. Had together in about 20 minutes. "Looks" good but this finish arrived with scuffs. Has a matte finish and is not slick like the white one is so the surface will scratch easily. I recommended adding felts sliders to bottom of baskets if using inside storage cube. Comes with plastic dowels and long hex head screws. I added a little wood glue to holes with dowels and in between wood surfaces where screws are used. I'm going to add a coat of polyurethane to the top to prevent scratches and to waterproof. Not heavy, but seems sturdy enough for storing baskets for small toys.

Yes, the product was very easy to assemble and very sturdy. However,, $45 plus an additional $5  for tax is way too expensive. This is not even real wood. Price check your items Walmart.
