Book Storage

Assembly process is generally straightforward.

Accommodates various storage items comfortably.

Made with a solid build that can withstand wear.

Was able to assemble by myself - you may need to put the screws into the holes before assembly - just a few turns so there is certain to be room and a good bite. Then remove them and it makes assembly easier.

Built it feels pretty dark solid for its lighter build. I filled it with books and it didnt complain in the slightest and didnt wobble.

Package came well wrapped with all its component bits and bobs nicely labeled.

Easy build and good value

We have purchased Better Homes and Gardens for our home before ( and recommended to both Childers as a bit over option for cubes) some we use for book storage but this one will hold my purses in the closet. I ordered the wrong color but decided to keep it. We have used these cubes for years. I recommend them. I was impressed with same day delivery of them. Thanks so much.

Love this product. ( for years)

These are sturdy %26 larger than the other brand I bought. I wish I had found these first. The storage containers are bigger which is helpful when you have grandkids There are several different colors, and there are many differenct ontainer styles and colors that make them a great addition to any room. They also have different insert styles for kitchen, living, room and bedroom that makes Better Homes and Garden the best choice for cube storage.

Versatility %26 Style

Super easy to put together! I opened the box laid out the pieces and after that it took about (15) or so minutes! With the dog trying to help lol It’s a beautiful unit and it is sturdy! I have cubes in my children’s bedrooms and they are very versatile. I really like the (6) cube one because you can stand it up or lay it flat. If you’re looking to spruce up your new or old space this is definitely worth it! I will say I have purchased other cube units and they fell apart faster than the Better Home and gardens line. After having these ones I’ll never purchase a different cube.

The only negative thing I can say is I bought this exact same (4) cube and the new unit is smaller by a half inch. I did call better homes and gardens (who was VERY helpful and I got right to a person) and she informed me that they did change manufacturers. She offered to assist me with returning it and was very accommodating. I definitely did not want to return it and was grateful that I didn’t make an error. I love the look of these so much that I am purchasing a second one and will use the “old” one somewhere else.

Assembly with ease

i dont like that everything nowadays is partical board, but this is really quite nice. i use it to keep the grand kids games, puzzles and art supplies.

nice organizer console.

I brought this item for short term use in the grandkid's room to organize their toys and books . easy to put together myself. Looks beautiful I would not recommend for heavy items perfect for toys, lightweight items, and books.

This cabinet is perfect on its own and was very easy to put together.

I subtracted 1 star because it is smaller in height by almost one inch from the exact same item I bought about 5 years ago. I wanted a matching set and the new one is pretty close but not fully the same.

I'm still happy with it and plan to keep it, especially for such an affordable price. The color is decent and it accepts the older 13" cubes I had already bought.

This is a very product. Easiest assembly/best instructions I’ve seen. Super simple and easy for one person to do alone. No tools needed other than the included Allen wrench.

It lost a star because (1) the screws don’t sink, they stick out slightly above the wood, and (2) their solution to this (little black plastic caps) doesn’t always stay attached when you slide the bookcase/cube over carpet. If they find a solution for this, it is definitely a five star product.

Almost perfect. Would buy again.

I love this brand, the organizer itself is very sturdy, easy to put together and doesn't take long to assemble. Overall I love it, I just wish it came in espresso or a brown so I didn't have to paint it myself.

I wanted to love this. I realize it says “textured” but I still assumed that since it’s actually more more than the ikea kallax - there would be a finish on top. This unit would be fine if you never intend to get it wet.. but there is absolutely no finish on the outside that will prevent it from being ruined when wiped down. It’s also the type of texture that “grabs” the fibres on the cloth when wiped.

Definitely not what I was expecting and wouldn’t expect it to last long term.

The only reason I gave it three stars is because I mean it’s a shelf, it will be fine for a closet or something maybe that doesn’t need to be cleaned often.

I wanted to love it. NOT the same as IKEA..

The wood is warped and it is impossible to assembly and align the ends in order put the screws in.

We threw away the packaging so cannot return this items so will need to figure something out. It' a shame because we really like the quality and color of the wood.

Frustrated

Better Homes & Gardens 4-Cube Storage Organizer open-back 2x2 cube bookcase in manufactured wood with solid and wood-grain finishes; four 13" x 15" x 13" (33 x 38.1 x 33 cm) compartments, overall 30.16" W x 15.35" D x 29.84" H, top supports 100 lb (45.36 kg) and each cube 30 lb (13.61 kg); often used for books, bins, photos or as a compact media shelf.
