Assembly process is generally straightforward.

Very nice bed frame. Looks good and is sturdy. I personally don't like how bed frames now days make the bed sit so low. So, I ended up using the frame and putting my current metal frame and box spring inside the bed frame instead of the wood slats. This way the bed sits up a little higher. Another option would have been to buy a short 5 inch box spring to put on top of the wood slats. I went with what I had on hand, but wanted to give the idea to others.

I was on vacation and slept in a room with this exact bed style, and when I got home, I knew I had to have it. The BHGs beds  look and feel are what impressed me the most—it's stylish, comfortable, and incredibly well-made. I still can't believe the price (looks and feels like it would cost x2 as much). The chenille-like fabric on the frame is soft. The  assembly was easy, too. The slats threw me off for a moment, but overall it was simple enough to figure out.  This bed is a fantastic find and well worth every penny!

Here's a tip. Use the QR code for assembly help. I didn't see it until AFTER I had figured it out. The slats were the big problem spot. The diagram left me confused as there was not enough detail. There were two portions of it labeled "top" but top was never mentioned at all in the assembly instructions. The QR video is equally vague but at least provides some orientation to the proper assembly. The slats didn't seem to fit in the bed frame, but you need to put your knee into the sideboards and make it happen. HAHA. It will work out. We like the bed.

Assembly tip

After using this bedframe for the past almost 6 months it is in great condition and has held up really well. There was an issue with the assembly due to one of the slats being backwards but my husband was able to fix it. Great purchase over all in terms of quality, style and durability

Great at 6 months of usage.

Super nice and very aesthetic.. easty to assemble u can use the manual or the qr code to watch the tutorial video.

Assembly is straight forward until you get to the wood slats. The instructions do not specify which direction to lay them and the stickers on the slats labeled “TOP” don't help the process at all. Assembly would go much smoother if they made it clear how to orient the different pieces and wood slats. 

Otherwise, love the look. Be careful with the fabric during unboxing. Husband accidentally got the headboard dirty during the unboxing process and not quite sure how to get rid of the stain yet.

The darn wood slats!

Box came in and was quite heavy which was a good sign it was a solid piece. 

Ran into lots of issues with assembly. 

- sides bow out in the middle exposing unfinished wood on the side of the mattress

- slats are too short so they do not reach the side rails of the bed

- with the slats being short, leg connections are also hindered

Didn't expect it to be perfect, but crap quality control on the last stages of setup after spending 1.5hrs setting up the frame is quite frustrating. 

Would NOT recommend taking a gamble that the bed you're sent will be usable.

Looks good, horrible quality

What an awful experience putting this together! It was missing pieces!! we literally have a pile of books holding up the slats because a part is missing. Some of the slats couldn't even reach the other side of the bed. We'll have to figure something out to get rid of those books, but as of now, we have no clue what to do. Buyer beware.

Missing parts!!!!

Horrible experience it's a beautiful frame but the support of the bed is wood and after ordering it twice it came broken and in the incorrect size. The support of the bed does not align with the size of the frame. If someone lays on the bed the support will break. 

You can not get a partial refund, you have to return the whole bed and they do not provide you with multiple options after their own mistakes. I was so disappointed with the whole process.

Horrible experience twice.

Wood slants are different lengths so the do not fit in frame. Some slants are too short so they cant be installed. Its causing frame to be lopsided.  Bedframe looks very nice and maybe with different slants it would be good quality.
