I have 3 bird feeder cameras.  A Birdfy and two others of a different brand.  What the Birdfy has the others don't is night vision, an alarm you can try to use to scare off predators %26 a microphone.  It also connects quicker to the live feed than the other brand I use.  Construction wise both brands I've had to glue or duct tape down because the mockingbirds kick the perch off.  The Birdfy does NOT come with a way to hang it from the top, but does have more options on how to attach it to the rail or post.  Picture quality isn't as great as the other brand but it's ok.  Possums crawl over it every night, and raccoons try to pull it down %26 so far (nearly a year) haven't been able to,  does not require $ subscription to use. I bought a solar panel to charge it %26 it stays charged better than the other brand.

I had an exact model in my yard for over three years.  It was showing signs of finally wearing out.  Walmart had a great sale.  This device is easy to set up and use.  I love watching the birds in the day and the night creatures.  I love it!

This is my second camera

Replaced Bird Buddy with this unit as BB could not interface w/ WiFi. Also, Birdfy came with solar panel so no battery changes needed. Overall we have very much enjoyed Birdfy but it's bird ID is so-so. Have to use iNaturalist to get correct bird ID.

Enjoyable bird feeder w/ camera

I have eight bird feeders in my backyard, but the Birdfy became an instant favorite. It attracts a wide variety of birds, including cardinals, finches, juncos, chickadees, wrens, blue jays, and sparrows, sometimes four or five at a time. The captured videos are clear and fun to watch. I'm looking forward to adding the hummingbird attachment. I charge the battery once a week with an external power bank, but may add the solar panel for convenience. I have the feeder mounted on a tree, where it also attracts  an occasional squirrel, so I may have to move it to a pole.

Birdfy feeder makes birdwatching fun

We purchased this for my grandmother for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. We get multiple videos a day from her about who is visiting her backyard. Simple to put together and the app is very user friendly. Videos have a very clear picture it's amazing the detail you can see and all the sounds you can hear. We ended up purchasing another one for my mother in laws birthday.

Great Gift

I  bought this for my sister in law that just lost her husband, my brother.  I love mine!  I would definitely will recommend.

So glad I got this for my girlfriend for Christmas. We both love it so much. The video quality is excellent, and we love watching all of the different types of birds.

Amazing

Great product but the free AI identification for life as it states on the box and in the manual is not the case.  You must subscribe for the AI service which is a ridiculous money grab.  The box doesn't tell you that you bought the Lite version and you don't find this out until you try to activate the camera in the app.  Clear misleading by the company.

No AI recognition without subscription.

Apparently it's located too far from the Wi-Fi signal.  Slow to capture pics of birds or notifying us of that.  Alarm doesn't scare away the squirrels.

Not impressed

This did not work. It was a Christmas gift so come spring when they went to set it up they discovered it didn't work, which by then it was too late to return.
