Living in New England with the snow, ice, rain in winter takes it toll on pool covers. I never expect them to last more than a few years. The quality and price of Blue Wave cover was better than some of the previous other brand covers I had bought over the years. I thought I should have bought another for the future at this price to use when this one wears out. No problem with the winch but that wouldn't matter. I have a few from previous covers if I ever need a spare.

Great cover for the price

This Cover is similar to a light weight tarp but feels very durable.  Very light and easy to install by myself on above ground pool I remove 1/3 of the water out of because I remove the fittings and leave open holes.  It does not allow water through so we will see in the Spring how hard it is to remove being full of leaves and water... probably siphon the water off.  I bought 24 ft cover for my 18ft intel pool since I lowered the water level.  The cover goes hard way down the outside.  22 ft would have worked fine but only size in stock was 24 and it works fine.  Came with a plastic coated thin red cable and winding latch which works fine.  I just ran the cable around the pool and legs then hand tightened it without attaching or running through the legs.   Seems very secure as rain will fill the cover and tighten it up and hold in place.  Dark green on top, black on underside.  I am happy with this purchase although $65 or around there seems a little high price,

had this for a couple weeks. so far tarp appears to be made of quality construction. i have a 16' pool and it covers it much better and easier than the tarp that came with the pool.

Great affordable pool cover

I love how the cover has enough overlap to hang down over the sides of the pool. We had originally used the intex cover that came with our pool and wrapped layers of shrink wrap around it to hold it in place. That worked until we had 40mph winds. I wish I would have ordered this pool cover from the start, it would have stayed on and saved me extra work come spring time. We did have to cut the wire cord a little bit, because it was too much to wind up into the fastener. Just make sure not to cut it too short. Don't cut it until you've fed the cord all the way around and through the grommets. I hope this helps!!

Wish I would have ordered sooner

Pool cover was just as advertised. It had enough size to fit properly. All gromets were in place. The cable ratchet is flimsy but this is the same ratchet that came with every other pool cover I have used in 20 plus years of having a pool. This cover is as good as any other cover that I paid much more for in the past. This is first year of ownership, so it may disappoint in the future, but for now I am quite satisfied. Would buy again.

Good cover for the price

This is my opinion so far, but the bad weather is yet to come.  Will let you know then.  It was easy enough for my husband to put it on by himself rather quickly!

So far this was a good purchase. It has a nice overhang on my 24 ft round pool. I gave it 4 stars only because I thought it would be just a little thicker. Otherwise, it was well worth the price and seems like it will last at least two seasons.

I have a 16x48 pool and it has extra over the sides and seems to be very durable.Easy to put on also.

Great cover

I would like it better if the holes were spaced the same distance apart.
I coule use one 2 ft smaller. This is 28 ft. My pool has a fence attached to the side of the pool. The cover can not go lower than the brakets for the fence.

24 ft Round pool cover

The fit is not tight like recommended on their product nor does it tell you that after just a few months of purchasing the material starts to shed in a way and the black part of the cover is all in my pool every single time it's a mess even all over me not satisfied at all
