For the price I was pleased. Glad to get the information abount leaving the tarp flat on the water. I ruined many expensive tarps pulling them tight. I made a 1/2 pvc pipe ring to fit snuggly around the inside to hold it down and keep the wind from kicking the tarp up. Works great!

This is probably the fifth cover we have purchased, at least.  It is definitely the most impressive.  Normally during the installation process of spreading it out, dragging it across the pool, tucking it down between the pool and the deck that surrounds it, and stringing thr wire through to cinch it tight we lose a few grommets but not on this cover!  And it is more impressive because we were rushing since a thunderstorm was coming.  I think the material feels thicker than the covers of the same brand that I have bought previously from other online sites.

Winter Cover Wow!

This is my second purchase of this cover. After two years, the first had a 1 inch hole in the top. The hole was caused by my failure to not properly store the cover. If I would have stored in properly, I have no reason to doubt that it would have lasted for several additional years. The only complaint that I have is the winch broke during the first year. After it broke I was able to rig the winch and continue using it for the next winter. Ultimately there are better covers with better winches but this cover does the job for half the price.

The price was right. We have at least 2 ft. overhang on all sides around the pool, so the size is great for our 24 foot pool. If the wind had not been blowing, we would have had no trouble at all on the instillation. There was plenty of plastic coated wire & the tightening crank mechanism worked well. Not sure how it will hold up to 50+ mph winds this winter - the plastic material seems a little thin. Therefore, the jury is still out on durability.

Not difficult to install.

If you get 8 years out of this cover it'd be a major miracle. Figure on one year and done, but it does what it is supposed to do, cover the pool in the off-season. Not hard to install but works best if you have a helper to keep it straight.  If you need a cover for your pool for the winter, get one. Just don't expect it to last very long.

Does the job for one off season

Very thin and not sturdy at all.
We buy a cover every year for our pool.  We know they won't hold up any longer than one winter and that's ok, they're fairly cheap and do the job we need.  We tried this one since I could get it quicker through Walmart app - it is terrible.  It was on there about a month and already started tearing.  It's been 3 months now, winter hasn't even started, and we're going to have to buy another one. Do not recommend this one at all!

this says an 8 year cover, but upon putting it on my pool for the first time and putting the strap around it that came with it, it already has 2 holes in it. so no it was not what it is being advertised. the only good thing is it covers good.

First of all it was supposed to come with a securing kit and there was none.  The  cover began to rip on the second day after putting it on. Don't waste your money.

Waste of money

According to the reviews, I felt this would be a great purchase for a WINTER POOL COVER......little did I know, that we would be unable to keep it on our pool. We followed the directions, that were provided, to a tee. I have attached a photo of what we deal with EVERY time the wind blows, not to mention the fact, that it has been put BACK ON at least 3 times!

I extremely dissatisfied with our purchase!!

You get what you pay for!

You get what you pay for. This cover is barely more than just a big trash bag. Arrived with small holes in it, letting water through the top. Not even worth me paying the shipping to get a new one, I'll just receive the same awful quality cover. Save money in the long run by getting a cover that's worth it, this one is not.

Not worth the cheap price.
