I love love love the cover but was sent a cover that was bigger than I ordered. It's all good at least the entire pool is covered…. Literally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems to be a really nice pool cover. It fits our 18ft. Pool nicely..It was easy to put on and keeps debris out.Hopefully it will last a few years! It come with warranty to send back in for so much back if not doesn't last! I mailed it back in asap!.

Seems to be good!

Purchased this 16' cover for a 15' pool as when browsing i could see that the most common complaint that people would have about covers was them not being big enough. This cover extended almost half way down the side of the pool, which is better since the pool itself hads been partly drained. The fabric is black and i have to admit, its a little thinner that i thought it would be. With the type of mesh that it is i can tell that once it gets a hole in it its going to shred. The cable and clamp that were sent with seem to be of ok construction. In general it will work, but i don't think that i will be getting more than one season out of it.

Purchased this 16' cover for a 15' pool Glad i did

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cover was fairly easy to put on. Doesn't slip like most covers left it on all day and the pool water was still cool to the touch. Perfect water temperature for a pool day.

Perfect Pool Cover

We only has this cover on the pool for little over a week now but it seems to be working fine, this the the 3rd cover we bought the others would get bogged down with the rain this cover seems to be
doing exactly what it say it's seems the mesh is the way to go especially in Searrle. I gave it four stars because it hasn't been thru the winter with us yet just heavy rain.

I live in New England, so the winters can be very harsh. I had to purchase a new cover this year as the one I have had for 8 years finally ripped.
I knew I wanted a mesh cover, as this is what I had originally, but I also have seen too many of our friends pools collapse in on themselves with the regular covers.

This came with a new cable and gear lock.

I really liked the grommets set up. The spacing and double grommets made the cover very secure.
My last cover had one grommet set every foot. This is two every foot or so.

It was very easy to put on and it tightened down easily.

I was going to order a larger size, but reading the description, it says it has a much larger over hang (18 ft is actually 22 ft round).

Direction state that this cover is NOT meant to drop your water any further than 1 foot. This is perfect for my pool as the return is just about 1 foot below.

It hangs over perfectly and we have already had two rain storms and a wind storm (Its only SEPTEMBER!).

The water drained perfectly and the leaves that have fallen have blown off.

I didn't give this 5 stars yet as it has not made it through a full winter.
However, I hope to see it at 5 stars at the end of winter.
Looks to me like it should make it a few years in quality. And for the price, it would be worth replacing every three or four years anyways.

Looks like a great cover

The cover did not meet my expectations. I was wanting a cove that was actually mesh where water actually goes through it. Water stood on this cove and would freeze before it could go through the fabric.

Could be used as a winter cover but didn't drain

Doesn't stand up to the wind even with extra clips.

Not recommended for high wind areas

Havn't even had strong winds or snow on the ground yet. Installed on 10/26/2012 and was already torn on 11/16/2012! Junk that will not even make it through the lightest of winters!

Cover tore in the first month.

Blue Wave Round Rugged Mesh Above-Ground Pool Winter Cover fitted over a round above-ground pool, made of black mesh with a 4-foot overlap, metal grommets spaced every 2 feet, secured by a vinyl-coated cable and metal winch, designed to keep debris out while allowing water drainage.
