Bondo® Glass Reinforced Filler is great for use on fibreglass, wood, metal, aluminum, SMC, and masonry and is compatible with all paint systems. Half-inch, interlocking fibreglass strands create strength and make Bondo® Glass the ideal filler for repairing small (dime size or smaller) holes or rust-outs. Be careful not to use tooo much harder. We repaired a porcelains tub with a rust hole about 2 inches x 2 inches. It looks beautiful! And is hard as a rock.

I like this better than the plain bondo, the hairs keep it all together. Holds good, just wish it was cheaper for the gallons. Do not mix too much hardener in it unless you want it to dry fast and crack when it is dry.

BONDO FOR WOOD REPAIR

So I had the same issue as past people. I was not able to see any directions for this product when I purchased it and scanned the QR Code. I gave them a call. They are aware of the issue and trying to fix it. 

Directions:

Put about a 3in puddle of the short strand fiberglass
Put a small line of the cream hardener next to it
Mix together

Warning: This sets very fast be sure to be ready! Use 36-40 grit to sand down

Received orders on time but damaged on can.

Bondo glass

Bought this in a pinch, won't purchase again. I usually use Duraglass short strand body filler, and it works and goes on like body filler. This Bondo stuff is slimy and goopy, very hard to spread, it runs off of the panel, overall junk. it sets up way too quickly also. I had to use half the normal amount of hardener just to keep it workable. It goes on more like horse hair fiberglass and resin than body filler. IMO, Duraglass is a far superior product to this.

The mix is not fluid enough to work and fill up gaps or cracks. This product goes everywhere but in the location you will try to fill in, expect lots of cleaning and waste!!!. There is no thinner either that seems to be acceptable without breaking the chemicals…., it sticks to metal tools mainly, dries too fast, gets hards but doesn't stick to surface of fiberglass boat after application. Maybe this works under a very high controlled environnement of a lab but cannot be recommended on a boat yard project for waterproofing any exposed gaps. It is expensive and nearly impossible to use for long term repairs. I did a quick mix with bondo resin to try a different viscosity that resulted in a very high heat, and almost melted the container…!  I got a nice solid piece of plastic within 2 minutes, already inusable for the repair, molded to the shape of the container, no adherence at all to the plastic surface of the bowl!  Bondo please tell us who is able in your team to repair a boat deck in 2 minutes, how to thin this mix and delay hardening the green tooth paste? Which fiberglass it sticks too?
