First of all, it definitely takes two to assemble. Not difficult, just unwieldy. You need a second pair of hands. Some of the  metal was scratched but we could position it so it didn't show. Lastly, it looks like they had to move some joints on the bottom. It didn't effect the structural integrity, but it was changed on the bottom plank. That being said, it looks really nice and I'm glad I purchased it. For the money I couldn't ask for more. Have it in our beach cottage and it fits in perfectly!
