Great Product, Great Service/Delivery!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Bush Home five shelf bookcase for free in exchange for my honest opinion from Influenster.  I was so excited to be picked for this bookshelf and when it came it was in a big long box. It was packaged very well having Styrofoam wedged in between each piece and even the hardware was in a separate cardboard box. Each piece was labeled and really not to hard to put together.  I love the white wood look to it and in fits perfectly for my items.  It is also very sturdy and more heavy with all the removable shelves.

Nice for the price.

We purchased two of these. Pretty much what you would expect if you've purchased this type of bookcase in the past.  Construction is simple and uses the locking cam system which works well.  There were no missing pieces or damaged parts, but there weren't quite enough of the small nails for the back.  Still, there were plenty to keep the back secure.  The back comes as one piece, folded into three, so there are no visible seams like in the old days. 

The shelves are not fully adjustable.  There is one fixed shelf at about 28" from the floor to give the unit some rigidity.  One adjustable shelf fits below that shelf and two adjustable shelves fit above it.  Each shelf has only five possible positions. That is, the holes are not continuous from top of the  unit to the bottom but are grouped in fives with some space with no holes between.  Again, this is common with this type of unit, but if you needed unconventional spacing, the existing hole positions may not work.  I suspect for the vast majority of folks, tho, the available shelf positions will be fine.  They certainly were for us.  

Hardware is included to anchor the shelves to the wall to prevent the unit from tipping over.  If you've got rugrats that may try to climb the shelves or for some reason have heavier items on the top shelves, it is probably a good idea to use it.

Nobody is going to mistake these bookcases for high end, real wood units, but they're attractive  and functional, so we recommend them.

Pretty standard shelf unit.  No surprises.

Not as wide as I expected, but doesnt seem flimsy. Very easy to put together and I feel they will last a long time. Adjustable shelves will be helpful for different items as our children grow in and out of toys. Now to shop for a larger tv, lol.

We are using it to hold some decently weighted items and its working for that purpose, however, I do wish the shelves were all screwed in for some extra security.
