AT FIRST WHEN LOOKING AT THE DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO ASSEMBLE THIS DESK, IT APPEARED TO BE TOO COMPLICATED. I WAS TAKEN BACK WHEN EACH STEP WAS GIVEN PRECISELY, AND AFTER 2 HOURS MY NEW DESK WAS BUILT. IT WASN'T THAT DIFFICULT AND IT LOOKS GREAT. YA ME

This desk is exactly what we were looking for and at such a great price. We spent thousands on our old, heavy wood desk and we wanted to switch to a more modern look. It did take a long time to put it together but worth it!

This desk is large, beautiful, and well-made - suitable for home or office. It is very heavy, and will last.

Great Desk at a Great Price

I was skeptical for the price whether this product would be up to my expectations but I am very happy with how easily the product assembles and I am sure we will take it with us when we move because we can actually disassemble it and re-assemble in our new home unlike other desks we have had in the past.

I like the desk and even purchased the hutch. Actually, I purchased the hutch first not realizing the desk did not come with it until I received it so I purchased the desk as well. The instructions are not the greatest to follow. I had a few problems following them but finally put it together and absolutely Love all the desk space I have. If the directions were a bit clearer it would be excellent because for the average person, it is confusing. And yes, I did put it together myself.

Great, lots of space

Great desk! Very sturdy and nice color. We did have a part missing so we had to call the company to get that shipped. My fiancé and I were able to get the desk together on our own but it wasn't easy. In the pic the drawers weren't in but the are now.

Great Purchase

The desk is very good. Solid and well finished. Relatively easy to assemble. One small dent where the packing wasn't done right but I can live with it. The delivery process was not satisfactory. The two heavy boxes were left in the middle of the driveway. The delivery person didn't bother to ring the doorbell or call. Or to leave the packets near the garage door or front door. Very unprofessional.

Good solid desk

Although the assembly of these products is not for the faint-hearted, now that it is fully assembled and in my freshly painted office - I love it. This desk is solid and heavy - exactly as pictured in the website. I mentioned the assembly because these products came in three heavy boxes all requiring assembly. Thanks to my son's patience and strength he was able to assemble the desk in my living room and we both carried it to my office in the 2nd floor. Once there, putting both desk segments definitely required 2 people: one to hold up one side while the other screwed in the part to make the L-shape. I expected this to be the case but wanted to mention in this review so others are aware. This desk and hutch looks great and a fantastic deal.

The service centre advised that there was a manufacturing problem but they were not recalling any defective products produced - How shocking - Will not be buying from Walmart again!
