Ease Of Assembly

Value For Money

Appearance

Exactly what I wanted, sturdy desk fits great in the corner I wanted to put it in. I looked all over for a desk like this.

Great desk

Bush Home

Beautiful grey-brown desk. Its super classy and spacious. It looks great in the room we are putting together!! You have to put it together yourself, but that was kind of a fun puzzle for my husband and I:)

Besutiful desk!

walmart.com

The desk is fantastic but the assembly instructions are NOT easy to follow at all! My husband is an engineer and it took him about 5 hours to put together. The little bags of screws are not labeled and some of them are extremely similar. Not all the pieces are labeled either.
I love my desk though! The "wood" feels very smooth and it seems rugged enough to withstand my cats claws. Since I have a laptop and don't need the tower compartment, I put plastic drawers in there for storage.

This is a perfect desk for a home office!

We are in our 70's and needed to start down sizing so we purchased 2 of these, and love, love, love them. We had 2 others (diff Brand that were 71" L shaped w/ hutches & an attached armoires, for about 10 yrs. With these new ones our room feels liberated.
Hubby said, "if he could put these together anyone can", easy to follow instructions, spacious desktop & storage area, & love the maple cross wood grain & finish.
We have 2 small issues, that being said, they are, 1: the locking & aligning of the door hinges, 2: the fact (for me who is under 5') the squareness (not rounded edge) of the desk edge is not quite right highth for me, but I'll make it work, because we do love these desks.

Fabulous

I love this desk and it is a great addition to my real estate office. Between my wife and I we had it set up in 3.5 hours. Total man hours was five which I really can't complain about like others have. Instructions were easy to follow and consice. For a chain store brand, I found this to be more than my expection. The $300.00 we spent on it matches any other desk at triple the price in my opinion. Great buy!

Great product

The furniture arrived promptly in 2 boxes, and in good shape. One must read the instructions very carefully and even then it can be difficult. It took me the best of a morning and now that's assembled it look very nice.

L shaped computer desk

Followed the instructions and it went together easily. It does take a few hrs. to assemble. Used a power drill instead of a hand screwdriver. Looks great.

This arrives in a single box. Accordingly the box is extremely, and I mean extremely, heavy. Be prepared if you get this ship to store. The people at WalMart were able to load it into my truck fine, but when I had to get it into the house... that's another story.

Assembly was very easy. The instructions are clear and assembly was a snap. Also, one thing that is not apparent in this product description on this website is that you can set this up as a right handed or left handed corner. Very nice. The instructions are clear on this as well.
They even provide a couple extra of the smaller fasteners just in case you lose some. I always find that is a nice practice.

I wouldn't place your computer in the small cabinet designed for that. There is so little airflow in there, it would overheat in no time. However, that small cabinet is perfect for placing your power strip, modem, and external hard drive, if you have any; with plenty of room to hide all the cables. I mounted it all on screws I put into the interior sides of that cabinet so it looks tidy.

My biggest complaint with this product is that the doors for the shelves don't meet up with each other or the desk very well. There are gaps. But since this is a make-it-yourself I suppose we shouldn't expect craftsman quality; especially at this price. The only other complaint is that the deep drawer isn't very deep. The bottom of the deep drawer is actually about four whole inches above the bottom of the drawer face. That's four inches of lost volume, and hanging folders in that drawer actually scrape along the bottom of the drawer, which is really inexcusable from a design point of view.

Overall, I am satisfied with the product. It's just what I needed.

Just what I needed

This desk has some nice features and good appearance. However, as someone who has put many desks/items together, the directions were rather poor. While I realize that the directions need to be usuable by everyone, regardless of the language, they could have used either more explanation or better graphics. We also had holes that were not drilled or misdrilled. The desk looks very nice but I would probably shop around for a better value next time.

the good:
Looks good, plenty of counter space

the bad:
keyboard tray not big enough (26.5") my keyboard and mouse pad require 27.5" it is still usable but the mouse pad is slightly under the keyboard.
Low quality finish, corners and edgers of desk are very sharp, the gray legs are made of thin plastic (feel very weak).

Looks good from a distance. low quality
