I recommend Coats Dual Duty Hand Quilting thread. The blend of cotton and polyester makes a strong thread but soft to the touch that will integrate into the fabric and not feel stiff. The black color 0002 is a staple for every sewing basket. Perfect for hand and machine sewing.

Need quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a thread that didn't break real easy but was also thin and not too expensive. I'm pretty pleased with this thread and its a lot better than what I was previously using.

Its a good thread

I use this thred at my eyebrow threading place and all my employees like it very much. Walmart does not let me order a bulk at a time so I have to order 15pc on each order. If Walmart allows me to buy a lot I will buy 1000 pc at a time. This thread is pretty nice.

Nice

Really good thread for big stitch quilting and I also use for hand binding.  I usually just buy the cream or light gray colors to save money because those colors will go with any color.  The yardage of every spool if really good and the price at Walmart is cheaper than anywhere else!

Best for Sewing Machines

This thread type is a staple for any sewing kit to have. Not only will it help will basic hand threading stitch for a small repair, it will also hold up well in your sewing machine to bigger projects.

Durable and Capable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thread is wound so tightly that I had to use a sharp knife to cut the thread and it was cut unevenly that resulted in several loose ends.  The thread is described as a darning type texture but is more of a stitching texture (finer).

Seamstress in distress!

Usually like this brand. has been my go to for years. I purchased 3 spools for a hand made quilt and its junk.. not sure why this is happening, will try and return.
