Ease Of Use

I needed to replace a pocket that came off a pair of sweat pants. I kept forgetting the pocket was missing and sticking my phone into the flap. Lucky for me the phone slid down my leg before I left the house. I bought "Upholstery" thread because I figured it is good for stitching up a tear in a sofa, so it will hold up in a repair in some pants. So far, I have a pockat again and it is holding up even through machine washings.

Thin But Sturdy Enough For Tears On Clothing

walmart.com

I'm really liking this brand. I've ordered several thread varieties from them and the smooth thread texture really stands out. Other brands seem to snag more and break more easily than Coats and Clark. I use them for fabric repairs and for crafts and have zero complaints.

Very happy with all results and at a great price!

I just needed thread, and choosing shipping, sometimes the choices are limited, so I picked this.
Super surprised and happy I did.
Had to repair a tear in a work jacket, this thread is very sturdy and thicker than regular wimpy thread.
Awesome to have a really strong alternative to run of the mill thread, for those jobs that require a strong repair.

Very strong thread!

I will buy this thread over and over for everything but the most delicate fabrics. It doesn't break and it doesn't tangle. Great for a stitch in time for dog toys. Slows down some of the shredding.

Gigi Says

Thin enough that can go through any small needle hole but very strong . I used a feel time on my sectional because my kids are very rough on it and the seams keep coming apart. The price is reasonable. Second time buying it.

Great thick and strong thread for sewing. Great quality and value, I will be purchasing more in varies colors.

I highly recommend for sewing

The color is not as rich as the photo, but I'm ok with that. The color of the thread is a little more on the blue side than the blue-green sample from the image. The actual item is also a little lighter. I don't mind the color much since the thread will be used on a medium denim blue colored fabric. I think for me, the thread should blend nicely and should work if I make stitchwork (sewing by hand) smaller.

Color not as rich but that's ok

Nice color. Thick and strong as you'd expect. Bought this to fix a tear in my car's upholstry and it is stronger than I needed. Will work very well for thick upholstry and furniture.

Good quality

The ends of the spool are not shaped right and the thread continuously comes off the bottom of the spool and wraps around the stationary spool spindle, this jams the machine every time and breaks thread and makes knots on the project . No other spools do this, It is a serious design flaw that the company needs to know about. The thread is good, the spool is not.

spool design flaw

In 20 years of sewing this was the worst thread I've ever worked with. It constantly coils on itself and falls off the spool on the machine, catching on everything in its path and damaging my sewing machine as well as creating uneven tension and ruining stitches within a minute of completely rethreading. It splits very badly even immediately after cutting so very difficult to thread any needles. Tangles worse and more frequently than any thread I've ever used. Frays badly while hand sewing too so I do not have any confidence that the stitches will hold up over time and wear

C&C Nylon Upholstery 150Yds spool of black 100% nylon sewing thread ideal for indoor and outdoor upholstery, furniture, travel goods, and sports equipment projects, also suitable for heavy-duty crafting.
