Although I've used my Chute Mag a couple of other times, the real test came on July 4th.  I sat in blistering heat near 100 degrees (115 heat index) on a hot sidewalk in the sun to watch a 2-hr parade.  The sun and heat, bouncing off the concrete and asphalt, were no match for my Chute Mags (I had also purchased one a couple of months prior).  My grandsons and I enjoyed ice filled water the entire time while others kept emptying their warm water bottles.  Absolutely the best!!!  I highly recommend the Chute Mags!

I can't tell you what I love more, the fact that everything stays cold for days or the awesome lid. I love that it won't hit me in the face while using it. The color is also way better in person! It's a perfect size for smaller hands and is still able to hold a lot of water. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Absolutely perfect!

I had been looking for a water bottle without a straw that covered the mouthpiece for so long! And this fit the bill! I thought I wanted a non screw top cover, but you don't really have to turn it that many times. (And actually I've read reviews that turning it too tightly messes it up!) The magnet in the cover is nice because it prevents the cap from hitting your face while drinking, and the whole bottle is nice and solid. And I like that the caps are interchangeable! I'm a fan!

Pretty much what I was looking for!

Easy to fill, keeps the ice in the water for more than 24 hours, easy to drink from.  Comparable to a Yeti, but a better way to drink out of , the Yeti I needed a straw for cold water, this I can turn upside down and chug the water out the container.

Nice Sturdy Water Bottle

I have three chute in total. The first chute i bought over two years ago for my son who is nine  years of age now. "My son put the 40oz chute to the test." Literally! The 40oz chute fell down a flight of stairs numerous of times. It even fell over a 20-25 foot drop cliff while mountain climbing. (And yes, it was retrieved) So, not only does it keep your water very cold for hours and hours. It also takes a great beaten!! The only complain my son had, It was too heavy for him to carry long distance. And i agree with him being a 40oz chute full of water ;) This year i got him and myself the new 32oz chute. And, the 40oz chute was passed on to my better half.

I bought this water bottle a couple of weeks ago as an addition to find which bottle could; 1) Withstand the test of time and remain cold for at least 24hrs. 2) Easy to hold, unscrew and finally drink out of...
May I just say I am beyond impressed with the superiority of this bottle. I have tried the hydroflasks and yetis- but this bottle is both economically friendly and stays cold for well over 24hrs with little ice pieces still floating around.  I wholeheartedly give this bottle a 5/5 and recommend it to any family, friends and strangers. (:

Ice ice baby

This water bottle is good.  Keeps my water cold for a day or two.  Only problem is that it sounds like there is a small piece of metal rattling around within the insulated area.  More of an annoyance than an inconvenience.  Thought about doing a return and exchange but didn't want to go through the hassle.  Just makes a little noise.

Good Water Bottle but something is rattling.

The bottle itself is great.  Keeps water cold/hot like advertised.  The only downsize to the bottle is the cap, specifically the smaller cap that you drink out of.  It is a pain to screw back onto the bottle.  The plastic piece that it is attached to is to rigid and doesn't allow the cap to screw on easily.  I've had the bottle for about a month and thought the plastic would loosen up and become easier but it hasn't as of now.  Other than that issue, I like everything else, bottle, size, magnet to hold the cap back....everything.

Caps

I bought this water bottle almost a year ago and I've loved it until a few months ago. The insulation keeps my water cold all day and overnight - my ice will usually not melt for 8 hours. However, recently the cap has been leaking randomly. It leaks when I tip it to drink, and it will also spurt out water when it has been sitting upright and untouched for any amount of time (between 5 minutes to up to an hour or more). When I put it in my backpack it leaks all over my books and when it's sitting on a table it leave a ring and sometimes even a big puddle behind. I don't know why it suddenly started to leak, because for the first few months I had no problems with it. I've probably put the cap in the dishwasher a total of 3 times - I usually hand wash it.

LEAKY CAP

I've had the bottle for 3 weeks. The bottle stays cold for a very long time. I prefer the old style Chute cap over this newer magnetic version because it was easier to open.  Overall it's average. No better or worse than competitors' bottles I have used.

Taking two stars off for these two reasons:
A) the website says the bottle and cap are dishwasher safe. When the bottle arrived, the bottom is stamped “hand wash only.”  Kind of a bummer since I bought this thinking someone had finally made a dishwasher safe insulated bottle.
B) I emailed Customer Service to check which is correct- hand wash or dishwasher safe.  They never emailed back, and it's been three weeks.  I understand due to the pandemic things might be a little slow, but if they are willing to bring in employees to ship orders, they should be providing support to customers as well (which can be done from employees' homes).

Website description inaccurate

Cap leaks consistently... the design requires you to press the cap down hard and then turn it tightly to make sure it is closed. I want a cap I don't need to worry about.  It has leaked in my backpack, on my car seat, on the couch. If it's horizontal it's leaking.
