Makes her always wanna drink the water. Which is a big-time positive also we hike a lot and plan on using it for that purpose.

Has a little extra room to pack your meals (think tuna pouches, uncrustables, beef jerky) if you're gonna be on the trail all day. Fair price for the product; I'll be purchasing one for every member of my family!

There's a reason they have brand recognition..

Bought this for my toddler who saw mine and wanted one too. He loves having easy access to water and stuffing his stuff in the backpack. It's not too heavy with it filled with water to carry around. The quality of the bag is as usual very good, as expected from camelbak.

Fits range of ages

super portable. and the water reservoir is good quality, but be sure to clean  beforehand. the chest straps slide up and down which is ideal. got it for a steal at $10 for a camelbak, so I think I can live with the flames

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we love it. I am so pleased with the whistle on the chest clip. We bought this for our 2 year old's hiking adventures and and zoo trips. We haven't used it yet since it's been below 0 lately but I'm excited to use it in a couple weeks!

Love it so far

I bought this CamelBak Mini Mule for my 5-year-old to use on bike rides and short hikes, and it's been a really solid purchase. The size is perfect for kids—big enough to hold water, snacks, and a couple small items, but not so bulky that they complain about wearing it. The shoulder straps are soft and didn't rub, and my kid had no trouble putting it on by himself.

The hydration tube is easy for kids to use, and I like that the bite valve doesn't leak all over the place like cheaper packs sometimes do. The backpack itself feels durable and has held up well to some very rough “kid treatment.” The flame pattern looks even cooler in person.

My only minor complaint is cleaning the reservoir. It's not hard, but you do have to stay on top of it. If your kid forgets to empty it (which mine did…), it can get a little funky. But that's more of a kid issue than a product issue.

Overall, it's a comfortable and well-made little pack that makes staying hydrated way easier for young hikers or bikers. A strong 4 out of 5 stars.

Works Great for Biking and Hiking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality looks good. I like the design and utility of it.  But it leaked at the bottom of the reservoir where the hose connects. Had to install a hose clamp.

Leaked first use

Walmart sent it with the security tag on it so we never were able to use it . my grandaughter has leukemia and I had it mailed to them for her backpack treatment, but  they could never get out to have the tag removed so 60.00 went down the drain.  Very disappointed.

Disappointed

Great size! Was excited to use it, but the water leaked out. Another day I tried again thinking it was user error. But, once again, the water leaked and made a mess. I need to return it.
