Weight

I specifically loved this one because it doesn't have that strong rubber smell that many rubber-coated dumbbells have. My only concern is how long-lasting the coating will be. It does still have the cancer warning, which is something to keep in mind. I use it at home, and overall, I'm very happy with it.

Good looking dumbbell

walmart.com

Good, slightly expensive, but good otherwise.

I own other CAP dumbbells. They've been pretty good quality and get the job done. I just recently ordered 2 lb bells and they're not a cast iron color. They look green-ish. They won't match my other weights, which is a bit annoying. Same brand and style, yet they're a different color.

I ordered online and they appear to be in pretty good shape. There are a few scratches on them from shipping, but nothing major.

Good But The Color is Off!

Poor welds connecting the heads to the bar. There are a lot of gaps. After a few uses, these welds will break and the heads typically fall off and are no longer useable. Also, the packaging was very poor (see picture). I have bought rubber dumbbells that were packaged much better and well protected.

Disappointed

There are a lot of sharp places on them, where the two molds joined together that was never ground off and they painted right across the top of them. I had to grind them off before I could even use them and of course, I ground off the paint too so now I have to repaint them. If I known, it's gonna be this poor quality I wouldn't have bought them.

There are some point areas in the dumb bell where you could possibly cut yourself. Also the outer layer of the dumbell starts peeling if not already in the process of peeling after it came out of the box.

Cheap price for a cheap product

in 20 lb dumbell we have crack which looks unsafe

have a crack in joint. that's unsafe for weight
