Plates have a symmetrical silver gray color.

Offers lowest price per pound for the quality.

Can be compact, but also inconsistent in size.

Made with enamel covering for long-lasting use.

CAP quality can be hit or miss, it doesn't bother me because it's weight to move and serves it's purpose. I'm not a pro competitor just a dude trying to stay in shape.

With that being said, I was floored by the quality of this particular product on it's build quality, considering it's price range. 

Something to note, these are ~4" bigger in diameter than the 25 pound versions. What this means is it will sit the bar up 2" higher, which has helped my deadlift quite a bit. Reaching down for the 25s was basically doing a deficit deadlift! The bigger size and weight does make these a bit cumbersome to navigate the weight area, so be prepared!

I purchased four 25LB plates to add to my set. They have a smooth finish making them a little difficult to grab and pick up off the floor but they are thinner than my other 25LB plates which is nice when you need to put a lot of weight on the bar like for dead lifts The thinner plates allow more room for the collars.

been trying to grab these for a couple years. usually so expensive caught a Walmart sale. cap plates are the only plates I buy. every time I buy somebody else I kick myself. paint flakes, holes are weird sizes, plates are weird, too thick, too thin  ,not quite the correct weight. ill stick with these

These are very aesthetically pleasing free weight plates. They also make the classic “clang” sound against each other while lifting that just motivates you to push through another repetition. You just can't beat the price as well for new equipment. Thanks Cap Barbell for making affordable equipment for your customers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased CAP brand weights before, ********* pounds, at $.63/lb. This time 40 pounds was almost double per pound. Still a fair price but not nearly as good as last time around.

Arrived well packaged and as described. Bought 2 as well as a couple 5lb plates to use on an adjustable kettlebell. Nice powdercoat finish. Small point - Took some work to fully remove SKU sticker and its residue. Would buy again.

I recently ordered CAP Barbell weight plates (Total 110LB) as an addition to my existing 100LB weight set.They are of good quality and I am satisfied with the purchase. Feel sorry for the Fedex guy though as I stay on 2nd floor:(

I like that the weights are thin.  I have trouble fitting all of the weight I want on my dumbells and these thin weights make things easier.  I also liked the price and relatively quick delivery time

Got them for kettlebells. Same thickness as the 10lb plates, just smaller diameter.

The hole in this plate is 28MM not 30MM. 
The plates did NOT fit the bar that I bought from the same vendor.

Size matters.
