Made of strong 900 total denier fabric and full thermal skin that retains heat and reduces condensation, you'll keep warm inside this shelter. This ice-fishing tent features an oversized skirt for ample snow banking and you can even attach an X5000 removable floor (sold separately) for additional coverage and comfort.

Included ice anchor straps provide for easy setup with strap pockets for windy conditions. When it's time to pack up, simply fold this hub shelter down into the carrying bag for easy portability. Awesome hub! Clam quality, super easy to set up and warm inside on the coldest days! Space for 3 adults and all their gear! We use a big buddy heater and fish in our t shirts. I like it better than  our Nanook flip over.

Met all expectations, if you're pondering whether spending the extra money is worth it I can assure you it is. The quality of the built is amazing, super strong zippers, a lot of thought went into the design of this tent. I can set it up in under a minute and tear it down in 2, you really can't beat it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. Unfortunately the pics I had of this on the ice, are forever lost at the bottom of the lake lol So my unboxing photos will have to do. First thing I have to say, is that this thing is insane. Pictures really do not do this thing justice. I didn't realize how much space there would be inside of this thing. While we usually only had 3 guys fishing out of it at once, there is easily more than enough room for more. There were times we had this thing stacked with people at times during the day and night, just hanging around talking. We had enough room for all of our equipment, sunflower heater, and pretty much a full service grilling station set up to curb those mid-day munchies. Even the tall guys had no problem in this thing. Lots of head room. Living in Minnesota, there are so many variations in environment that come into play that this thing had absolutely no problem with. Even on the big lake superior, with the wind absolutely howling, this ice house handled it like a champ. Strong ice anchors kept it in place with hardly a rattle. Super thick, durable construction, held heat extremely well, and used very little propane on the sunflower after the initial warm up. Zippers are top notch as well. Usually my biggest peeve, but the zippers were free flowing, felt strong, and easy to grab even with big gloves on. Setting up was a breeze as well. Took me longer to cut  and clean 3 holes than it did to pop this thing up. Break down was just as easy, which is exactly what you want at the end of day. This ice house is an absolute game changer. I literally can cannot think of one con about this at all. If your sick if being cramped in a small hut, or even wish you could have more company join, this is the ticket. I only wish this winter was a little more "wintery" Didn't get quite as much time on the ice as previous years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had 4 guys fishing in this thing and could have still had a cot. I'm 6'4" and don't have to duck when inside this shanty. This thing stays warm and has loads of room. Absolutely massive and easy to transport/set up.

This thing is huge!

The house is very spacious and very comfortable.   I like the two cargo nets on the door sides of the house.  I've used it three times and set up is very easy and fast.  The only complaint is the tie downs provided are not very user friendly and are very cheap.   Whoever engineers and designs these needs to go out in -10 farenhight  weather.  Poor design and fumbling with these makes for cold hands.

Great house,  bad tire downs

Bought this and an Eskimo Fatfish 949i to compare. Both are excellent with some differences. The X400 is beefier all around with heavier fabric and poles. The X400 lets in light on all the seems which will make it more difficult if you wish to sight fish or spear. The Eskimo was nearly completely dark and would work much better to sight or spear. The eskimo also has much better ice anchors and an excellent bag to hold them where the clam does not and also has 2 less anchors. Both are quality houses for sure. Both were simple to setup and same exact footprint but the x400 is a few inches taller and it is actually noticeable when inside. 
If Clam could make this x400 house dark like eskimos fatfish it would be a game changer. I know they make a dark house but im not going to buy 2 houses and also their dark house is much too expensive. Compared to these two models.
