Sparkles and stays put. Great coverage of inner lid and below brow area. Quality similar to much pricier eye shadows. I will be buying more.

I got the Tapestry Taupe. It has a very light shimmer to it, and it last all day. It's a natural looking color that's great for my lighter pinkish skin. Covergirl's web site has a feature that will tell you the best colors for your skin type, and this color was on my list. I bought it here at Walmart, because they have the best price!

Best price for this eye shadow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For  COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Eyeshadow, ********* Tapestry Taupe, 0.09 oz, so very happy with the product.

I purchased this shadow because on the site it said that it was "matte". I am 62 years old and
don't wear shiny shadows. When I opened it to my disappointment it was not matte. Although
the color is good and is great for a younger person this did not meet my expectations. I
suggest to anyone looking for matte shadows not to trust the sites and buy the in person to
make sure that you get what you want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The eye shadow in all three containers is cracked/crumbled up. It is still useable but that's frustrating.

The picture that is on this email  you provided is the eyeshadow I wanted.  I've used it for over 20 years and love it and have gotten numerous others to use it as well.  The new CoverGirl replacement in the light pink container is not the same "TAPESTRY TAUPE".  The color is very shiny and pinkish or very light beige.  I was so excited that I thought I found some of the older ones and ordered 3.  Now I have five of the new ones that I do not like at all.

CoverGirl NEW eyeshadow not same color as old 1s

I've used this color, French Vanilla, for a decade or more. Recently CG took this color off the market and when it returned, they had added big specks of glitter. Originally the finish was luminous or pearl but not sparkly and DEFINITELY not glittery. It used to be a very universally neutral (nearly translucent) color to something almost clownish or for a tween girl. Disappointing for sure.

Same name, disappointing new finish.

I have ordered this twice before, it was a matte finish. It shows it's the same product but it's definitely not. Used it yesterday and it had glitter, hate glitter. I'm 69 years old don't want glitter. How do I get the original product? Will never use this.

Not the same

I'm sure the product would have been just fine if it had come in one piece instead of crushed. I ordered this for my Mom. She has been having a hard time finding it in stock at her local walmart. At 84, it is difficult for her to go out. I thought this would save her some hassle, but that wasn't the case.

I guess some things shouldn't be shipped

I too have used Covergirl Mink eyeshadow for years. I am very disappointed that you have discontinued it. I will now have to find something similiar form another company. From all of the reviews that I am seeing, you need to bring it along with several others back!
