I was sent this product in exchange for testing and review purposes. I held off on writing this for some time because I wanted to see how I liked the product over the course of a few uses. 

I will admit at first I wasn't the biggest fan of the product but over time I grew to love it! Once dry, it really delivers on the promise of a fanned "flare" effect, giving lots of volume and a beautiful dramatic effect! The wand is very unique and the control grip handle is a nice touch. My biggest pet peeve with the product is that the formula of the mascara is a little thicker than what I'm used to using, which caused some of my eyelashes to stick together and some random clumps. Once dried though, it's easier to remove the mascara clumps and separate the eyelashes. Over time I learned that a little bit of the product goes a long way so you don't need to be overly generous when applying the mascara, just brush it on lightly for a basic look. Thanks to the control grip, it was easy to apply the product "lightly" to my eyelashes. This is a new favorite in my beauty bag and recommend it for anyone that's wanting dramatic, voluminous lashes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mascara looks great at first. It really makes your lashes flare out. It look stays true to its name. The only problem is that it doesn't last. It easily smears and by the end of the day I️ go home looking like a raccoon. Maybe with some eyelash primer it last longer and will eliminate this problem. But on its own not the best. The packaging is great, really cute and has a good grip on it.

I received my mascara in the mail package look old called CoverGirl they asked me to open the package to check a code gave the code to the young lady found out my cover girl was made in 2017 ladies my advice if you're unsure like I was call CoverGirl they'll answer any questions you may have, they're phenomenal.

If you want skinny lashes, this is for you.  Thin formula and a rubber spiked brush did nothing for my lashes.  You better have great lashes and plenty of them to start with because this mascara gives you no help.

Not for me.

If I could give this mascara no stars, I would. The formula is too wet for my lashes. The wand is too awkward and bulky (even though it looks like it would be okay to use). The packaging is nice, I guess, but the mascara itself is awful.  I applied one layer and it didn't even look like anything was on my lashes. When I put the second layer on, my lashes looked like spider legs! Even when I combed through them, I still had spider leg lashes! I didn't see any added volume or length. This mascara is a bust!

Keep discontinuing products that work. This is NOT waterproof. Within a 1/2 hour of applying and raccoon eyes appear. Brush is very difficult to use and need several coats before complete coverage of lashes. Discontinues Marathon mascara around nearly 8 years ago and now you discontinued Covergirl Exact Eyelights Waterproof Mascara. Why do you keep discontinuing mascara that actually is good and is waterproof!! As soon as I find a product that works, it is gone. Used CG marathon waterproof mascara for nearly 15 years and then switched to Exact Eyelights (waterproof) Blue Sapphire when I could not longer find it.

I bought this new peacock flare mascara, the design of the tube was very appealing. The product is not, I can only compare it to an old dried out mascara. It Very thick but the wand doesn't distribute the product into the lashes. I have used it 3 times and am done... going in the trash!!!
