This model feels much sturdier and the black canopy looks to be a higher and thicker quality. I think this one will definitely last more than one season of Southern California Sun.

It's absolutely stunning in with the black canopy and stone black pole and I can wait for Spring to set this up on my backyard patio that we have just re-landscaped and extended the landing beyond the covered patio where my new outdoor dining table and new patio umbrella will be placed. I picked black, because it matches the trim and paint of our covered patio and I'm so excited! I tested out this umbrella and it's easy to open / close and the tilt feature works great, and it will be nice to be able to adjust the position as needed in the direct afternoon sun this area gets. I can do it myself without needing a second person to help me, which is great! Very happy with this beauty and highly recommend!

The quality of the fabric is better than any other umbrella I have had before, it feels and looks super thick and durable. The crank is easy to do, all the poles, handles, the tilt, everything moves with ease.  The tilt feature is nice and helps keep the shade when the sun is moving. Very happy with this umbrella since we spend so much time outside, we use it almost daily in sunny California.

Very good umbrella.  Quality very good.   would have given 5 stars if it was made clear that the base is not included.  Just had hurricane and umbrella handled strong winds well.  Would feel worth the money if base was included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my patio umbrella, it's the  perfect size for our small patio.  Gives us ample sun protection to be able to sit out doors even on a hot day. I love that it can be tilted as well to accommodate the direction of the sun. Our fur babies love it as well to enjoy some shade after a day of play. It's durable, hasn't faded from the rain or sun and is sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good patio umbrella.
