Very beautiful and sturdy, and easy installation too. Two outer rods on each side with one inner extension rod in the middle, which looks very balanced. I like the end caps as well which give a very clean modern looking.

I just bought this rod for my living room window, I love the quality and easy installation, only problem is I ordered the big one and it was too long. I need to exchange, is a little pricey but great quality.

Very good product

I must say the quality is pretty good. The curtain rod and all the hardware are sturdy and a little heavier than I expected. On the other hand, ours arrived with a small dent on one side and some scratches on the other. But, I'm not concerned about the cosmetics. Instead, I am mostly disappointed in the support. Our windows are 141", and I could barely extend the rod far enough to cover them (total length about 142" or 143" to semi-cover the borders around the windows-see pictures). Because they are extended so far, the middle section doesn't have enough overlap to provide good support. Even with the bracket, it seems flimsy, like it might topple if I move the curtains. I doubt the rod would hold for anything longer despite it saying it goes to 144'. Lastly, there are only 3 brackets! (Whaaa...?) So where the middle rod connects with the others (where the most support is needed) there is no support. I was really surprised there were only three brackets. I thought it would work anyway, so I installed it as is, and was very disappointed. Oh, and the normal grommet size works, but the curtains may lose a couple inches in width.

High quality, low support

Comes in 3 pieces instead of 2 like most rods therefore decreasing strength and stability. Also the amount of pieces was not disclosed in the specs.

Curtain rod.

Had purchased 4 of these rods a year ago (not my first purchase of Umbra rods) and decided to purchase one more so I could hang a single blackout drape across a balcony door. The rod came in 4 sections! I should have realized it because the box was very short. The rod sags in the middle and because the drape is to cover a door, a third bracket cannot be used. Not the quality I expect from Umbra.

Major dissatisfaction with reduced quality
