This yarn works up beautifully. Sadly, I would have purchased more of this clearance item but it was unavailable. The worked item (a hat) looked like angora. If you're working a small item, like a hat, you may only see one of the color shadings. I worked three adult hats from one roll of this yarn, with enough left over to use as a trim yarn in the future.

I enjoyed working Roth this yarn- the sweater I made with it was so soft and the colors are beautiful.

Great yarn- very soft

Alright…so this is unlike any yarn I have used before. It's so tightly packed and comes out looking funny and uneven, but it works up really really nicely. I'm honestly incredibly surprised that my stitches look so good. I'm glad I gave this yarn a chance. Very soft and I like the colors.

Works up nicely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a lover of yarn cakes. The less skein management i have to do, the better. These are great colors and i can worry less about figuring out how much yarn i need for a blanket, etc.

Perfect for blankets, wearable

Gorgeous! I love the colors! I've bought five or six of them so far, and they have a good amount of yardage. The yarn is a more delicate, lightweight yarn, but with a halo effect that makes the stitches soft and puffy. I've already made a hexagon cardigan and am working on a star blanket.

Cozy and colorful

Love this yarn. It has a slight stretch to it and is so fuzzy and soft! i worked this up on a bigger hook than it calls for and it came out stunning. Love this yarn so much! the ball feels like felt while the yarn feels fuzzy and soft. Makes a gorgeous sweater!

Love haze yarn!

Works up into a lovely sweater, but the work is hard because of inconsistency in the makeup of the yarn (big knots of fuzz in some places, lengths of naked string in others).  I had to cut and tie the yarn often.Love the colors, but not the frustration.

Inconsistency of the Yarn

This has been sitting on my shelf for a couple of weeks waiting for the perfect project to come along. I thought I had found it this morning when I opened one of the cakes and started using it. No, No, NO! I had to put it up after a couple of false starts and will try again on a stitch/pattern that is simple and familiar. This yarn is slippery and difficult for me to see because of the fuzziness of it. I hope I can come back and give it more stars after I've had a chance to give it another try.

Bad start with beautiful yarn

Coloring is beautiful on this yarn. I bought 5 cakes a few weeks ago. The coloring is consistent and the phasing between shades occurs approximately every 250 single crochet stitches (using the recommended 5mm sized hook). The green looks very much like grassy moss, and my child is pleased because he wanted a blanket that looks like grass and feels super soft. Giving 3 stars rather than 5 because so far there have been about 4 points per cake where the yarn is so thin as to be frayed and break. I fixed it by doubling or tripling up the yarn for a few inches at those spots, but it's annoying and I never had this problem with other colors a yarn that had the same texture.
