Smoother shifting and great protection.
Though expensive at $27 each (though sooo much cheaper than having some garage do it), I did a fluid exchange with 3 of these in my 2012 Camry SE that had 118,000 miles on the original fluid.  Gear shifts weren't bad before, but it's very noticeably better after the exchange.

Superior quality ATF for older automatic transmissions. Currently using Castrol Transmax in a 1993 Dodge A518 automatic overdrive transmission which was rescued from a salvage yard. Changed filter and gasket and installed the Castrol Transmax. Over a period of 4 weeks the transmission's performance has greatly increased and shifts very positively and smoothly.
