I purchased these shoes a half size larger expecting a wonderfully roomy fit. When the shoe arrived, it was fairly tight, especially where the strap inside the shoe runs across the top of my foot. I have tried every option including wearing no sock in the shoe to try to relieve the pressure of the strap, to no avail. 

I have tried stretching the elastic strap, but experienced no relief. I am disappointed in this shoes because I love the Chacos brand. Sadly, I would not recommend this shoe.

If you camp outside and get cold feet hanging out around camp then these are perfect for you. I have owned a pair of these since they were first advertised. I have hiked the Nankoweap trail in Grand canyon in these with no issues. The first day or so with these take a little bit of time for them to break in, i felt like the strap was uncomfortable on top of my foot then i didnt notice it after i had worn the shoes around a bit. I prefer the high tops, as you can always step on the heel of the boot and use them more like a slipper. All in all, great booties that will hold up a lot better than down booties that sre soft all around.

Down booties all night

I purchased the first edition of the ramble and loved them! I love Chaco sandals because of the width. The first edition of the ramble were in fact wider. These are just small enough to make the fit ridiculously uncomfortable. I measured the first edition and the most recent ones purchased. The difference is roughly 3/4 of an inch.

The new Ramble is narrower than the first edition

These are not what I expected. The foot bed is not at all like their sandals. There is little arch support, and they are not very stable. The elastic band on the inside is very tight, and their sizes are small. Even after sizing up from my usual size, they are still very tight. I do not find them comfortable, but they are warm.

Even with the buckle completely loosened, these are too tight at that spot to slip on without hands. Wanted something by the door to slip into quickly (e.g. while taking trash out in the winter) and unfortunately these are not great for that reason. My wife also says they look hideous so there's that.

Too tight to slip on without hands

Love these. With a few tweaks, they could be perfect. Pros: comfortable, warm - Cons: run small (I'm an 11.5 and the size 12 fits VERY snugly), lack of arch support(!), no insole. When you're used to the arch support Chaco sandals provide, the utter lack thereof in the Ramble Puffs is a bit irritating. I would not want to wear these all day long. But they are great camp shoes!

Almost perfect

I have a slightly wider foot but these things are for the super narrow. They are incredibly hard to get on and once they are..not very comfortable. I took a walk and had to cut it short due to the pain. They are warm however. Order up an entire size and they my be wearable.

Not comfortable

Best winter shoe I've tried. Perfect for commuting to the resort when you know you don't need a full-on winter boot and want something that's easy on, easy off. And no complaints about not being warm enough yet either!

Great!

Very small and narrowfor us sizing. Could not get my foot in a 9.5,  my normal size. Inside there is an elastic band-  very hard to vet foot past it. This is a poolry designed shoe in my opinion-  but someone will. Love it!

Ramble puff

These are truly a sleeping bag for your feet. I live in MN and I will be wearing these all winter long!! Honestly my feet have never felt toastier in winter and I've tried a lot of boots.
